Face fits company. Sly allocation of work and everyone paid different amounts for the same job. Money is decent but job is dirty hard and can be dangerous. Always looking to pull you up for anything and everything that goes wrong is your fault. To much pushing for collections and amount of work allocated rarely allows for proper breaks.
Pros
Cheap fuel
Cons
Everybody treated differently for same job

Massive staff turnover. Too many changes in management. Very stressful place. Treated like a number and with no respect even after 6 years. No proper training when you start there. Salary is very poor especially with the amount of work you do.
Pros
Free coffee

Great place to work, management are firm but fair and honest. You work hard but it’s well worth the effort when you see your results. When the weather is bad it can be hard but I love it!

No support from management. They promise drivers that they would be finished daily by 4pm, yet this in reality is never going to happen. You will be working long long hours. You will be abandoned by management and dispatch. New drivers usually leave within 5 months. On average 3-4 drivers either leave each month or are sacked. Best stay away.
Pros
Subsidised fuel allowance

Put Simply, if you expect to be treated fairly as a driver you can forget working for Copart. All the best runs are given to the same drivers, leaving you as a new driver the worst runs imaginable. You will work around 15-20 hours per week for free as Copart do not pay overtime, at all. This is around 25 hours more than the favoured drivers, who will take home around double the money you do, because they are favoured by the despatch team. Whilst we are talking about the despatch team let me tell you, that could not organise a children's party in McDonalds with free burgers and a clown yet still manage to have a bad attitude! In fact the combined IQ of the entire despatch team would fail to reach the dizzy heights of a dead hamster who suffered brain trauma at birth. In short, if you are a driver with any self respect, do not even consider Copart under any circumstances whatsoever, ever........
Pros
Rod the yard bloke is a nice fella the rest are oxygen thieves.
Cons
Everything.

One of the worst places I’ve worked. Fleet is old and only just road legal. Management have know clue what they are doing and just want to take your bonus off you at any chance they can get. Transport manager is a waste of space. Hours are too long. No staff unity. Everyone out to do each other over seems to be the company ethos from what I have seen.
Pros
Non
Cons
Very long hours, no home life, no respect from managers, training is terrible

There is a look after ones self policy with management at copart where all staff fear to put a foot wrong in fear of discaplinary procedures. This leads to slow working practices and high stress levels. The training is minimal to get up to speed in the job and the transport team need a map to find the toilet. In short decent work/moneyPoor management/ logistics...
Pros
Wages, mon to fri, fun work
Cons
Leaderless, logistics, support

If you are lazy don’t bother coming to work here, you will get out what you put in.The harder you work the more money you can earn.Great team of drivers, with the best Transport manager I have ever worked for, he is firm but very fair and his door is always open.Transport manger got rid of the bad apples, he will always support you if you are honest with him!Can be long hour mon-fri at times but no weekend work or bank holidays. If you are serious about making money and are willing to work hard mon-fri then I would seriously recommend Copart.
Pros

Don't bother going to work for these, as they don't care about the drivers or the fact that the trucks are falling apart, all they care about is profit. The dispatchers have no clue about what the drivers have to do or the roads they have to go down which they are in a 7 car transporter even though it should be a small truck job, also they are pushy with the consent phone call about what time you're picking up a car which is miles from where you are.
Pros
Ok pay
Cons
Long hours, bad management, bad fleet

I found that at the start of the job, everything was fine... Getting a few months in I felt the company was not providing an adequate service to customers, having to field constant complaints about damage to vehicles, missed collections and excessive waiting on delivery.

Under no circumstances should you consider working for this bunch of morons. Management is rubbish and the bullying from some of the yard staff is phenomenal. The loaders think they are untouchable gods and the managers allow them to. Out in all weather's and very little in the way of protective clothing.
Pros
Cheap fuel as long as you're in work all week.

not the worst job in the world but its very much full of bullies, the supervisors and upper staff ether like you or dont and they sure do let you know, they throw insults around like its funny and get in your face about everything, when i say in your face i mean they legit go nose to nose, it terms of money they are ok but not great for what you have to deal with, almost everyone there is unhappy and thus the mood of the place is always gloomy, you will find that its one rule for one and another for you, locations can sometimes be ok but in no means is that a reason to go for a job here, you will be one of two people, you will ether stay there trapped until the day you retire wondering what have you done with your life or they will beat you down until you leave and will laugh you all the way to the exit, would not advise anyone work there for long, go in get what you want and leave.
Pros
Locations, Cheap fuel
Cons
Long Hours, overworked, bully culture, low money

Your paid a basic day rate and then your paid a personal rate for collecting/delivering vehicles. It doesn't matter if you drive a 2 car truck or an 8 car. You get paid the same per car. So if you have 8 cars to collect and your driving a 2 car you have to do 4 trips and if your in the 8 car truck you do 1 trip. Same money but nearly twice the hours. You get a bonus every quarter but don't expect to get it. They will either change the target after the fact or they will find ways to claw it back from damages. There has just been a massive cull with 11 members of staff sacked for not meeting standards. All of which had been here less than 2 years so don't have a leg to stand on for appeal unfortunately. The fleet is older than gods dog and has a lot wrong with it. Pay is good if the work is there, if not its bad. Managers couldn't care about anything but paper work and ticking boxes. You wo t enjoy working here so don't let the money fool you.
