Stay well clear

It’s a big company with false promises they do not care about you they only care about the money they are getting for you working at there sites they also want you to act like a close protection officer for £9 per hour. offered me a 40 hour contract with promises of overtime they don’t tell you that they can’t even give you 40 hours never mind overtime gave me 21 hours a week then a supervisor insisted I “cement my place” then hours will come so I listened an cemented my place in another job instead.I advise every security officer to avoid this company and try to get in a company that actually has clue what there doing

Not a bad company to work for, loads of hours available if you want them, constant management visits and always available day or night for any site issues you have

Excellent company to work for if need support theres always someone there on the phone to support if been assaulted at work etc. Wage is fairly ok could be better. Overall I've had no issues were i couldn't get incontact with anyone

Consistently get calls and messages from managers and control room staff when on holiday or annual leave, don't get taking in for the position you apply for even tho you were accepted for that position, they don't act on valid complaints you make against other officers, don't really see management at all,

Couldn't even get releasing me right

Terrible. Awful management, useless control centre staff. I had to be 'stood down' due to a vetting issue I couldn't rectify, and they couldn't even achieve that properly. Zero hour contracts, and bad work environments. Would not recommend.

Worked for cordant twice now and I won't fault them. 2nd time I was a MRO and the only reason I left was I was driving from Bootle to Wales every day. Bosses are easy to contact and pay is always on time and correct. If you want the shifts and are prepared to work you will get them you scratch their back they scratch yours and will do favours for you.

Avoid at all cost! Especially if you are going to work at Matalan DC. Management couldn't care less about you, force you into a supervisory roll you probably don't want. Schedulers don't care who is on duty as they gave supervisor rate to a relief officer & not the core guard who was actually running the shift. Bench guards get treated better than core officers. 3 Days - 3 Nights possible the worse shift pattern i've ever worked. 72 Hours a week for minimum wage is terrible! Reality of the job is completely different to what is sold to you during the interview.

cordant security is a good company to work with . they treat their staffs well and make sure we are really looked after. the pay rate if excellent and the managers are always around to support us when we need help.

money is rubbish, management arent much better, hardest part of the job is getting out of bed for minimum wage while working nights, no night premium, most enjoyable would be the friends iv made in my place of work
