Door Supervisor (Former Employee) - Manchester, Greater Manchester - 3 November 2020
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedDon't recommend unless dying for a job, poor management, no direct answers,no where to easily report incidents,no where to add expenses, fired right before furlough scheme started so I don't get enough help during another lockdown. When emailing manager about a question he started talking about How he has a life outside the job when i just wanted an answer when he's available, wasn't telling him to reply at 10pm,absolute low life

Security Guard (Former Employee) - Manchester, Greater Manchester - 25 January 2022
Basically after getting the job nobody bothers with you if you do job correctly. However if you don't there are some retail staff that will speak behind you to your manager.
Pros
You are on your own
Cons
Have to deal with rude and racist customers

Shocking
Guard (Current Employee) - Manchester, Greater Manchester - 20 September 2018
They do not care at all about you as a member of staff or person. Treat you like a slave and pay the minimum possible while aiming to drain the maximum out of you. Never seen a company as bad in my entire life. Your treated by the client your based at as a worthless dogsbody and all rubbish runs downhill to you and you receive zero backing from your employer as they just aim to keep the client happy and treat you like less than nothing. If you dont like it leave, is what you get. Then your expected to bend over backwards at the drop of an hat. Avoid at all costs if you have an option to do so.

This company is a good firm because they always pay on time and have alot of work for everyone.
easy to get permanent sites and plus dealing with clients are easy once you have mastered the company policy.
the hardest part of the job is getting through to the managers of the firm and head office. (lack of communication)
Pros
good team at the site

Not a good company.
Security Officer (Former Employee) - Manchester - 21 August 2017
A typical day consists of logging on to control room, standing at lectern at viewing CCTV and patrolling the premises to prevent shop theft. They will want you to work 48+ hours a week and you will receive calls on your days off to attend shifts. Supervisor will not answer calls in you need contact him. You need to tell them about holidays 1 month before. Only positive is that they pay punctual.
Pros
Pay on time
Cons
Very Long Hours

Dreadful company - appalling manager
Security Officer (Former Employee) - Manchester - 10 May 2016
If I could put zero stars, I would. I have never worked for such an incompetent company in my life. I resigned after two and a half years because I could not stand their nonsense any longer. After signing my permanent contract on 11/12/2013, I never saw my manager again. He breached contract on at least five occasions but was never made to uphold the conditions of the hearing. I never ever found out what my Key Performance Indicators were in the whole two and a half years. I never received any training and I never even got access to the company's online system because my manager had to authorise it and he never did so. The uniform was a joke. I spent the whole of my time with them, wearing a shabby uniform of the old company, because the new uniform the manager sent (six months late) did not fit. I informed him of that the very same day but he never responded. Even after I left, they caused trouble for me. They fined me £250 for not returning my uniform on 8th April even though they had only asked me to return it on 6th April. It also took me over a month to get them to pay me what they owed me. If you want to work for minimum, flat rate pay, even on a Sunday night, you want an incompetent manager and you don't want any further training or back up, this is the job for you, Good luck!
Pros
None
Cons
Minimum wage for maximum hassle.
