Good company to work at but poor conditions. Since its retail you have to stand long hours with one break in between. Uniform is provided as well as safety boots. Previledge to buy things at a good price.

Very poor management did not care

Wage was way below par for hours and workload management didn’t have a clue of what they were doing. Too many lazy guards expecting others to do work and getting away with it!!!!

Disgusting Company to work for

Whilst you are at work you are constantly being monitored by the site security manager via cctv and your always under threat of losing your job and your so called work mates stab you in the back. They give you a 0 hour contract and threaten you with if you don't work overtime we will cut your hours down to nothing and there is no work life balance and this is the same story of all security companies I know I've been around I think the best remedy for this is to get out of security work all together it is a joke

Leave well alone they phone you all the time to see if you can work every where, they are not supportive the pay is not enough for what they want you to do very bad company to work for, for me 3 years was enough, keep away if you can

Great work atmosphere with friendly colleagues, good line management, HR support, and fantastic workplace culture. I have been with Cordant Services for over twenty years - since 1999 - and would not hesitate to give a good recommendation. The most enjoyable part of the job is the overwhelming sense of belonging and awareness of job satisfaction.

Supportive management

I've been employed by Cordant for 10 years now. In this time, I have learned a great deal from the management team and from colleagues and clients alike. Management have always supported me with my CPD and have envolved me in projects. As a site based operative, it is essential to have management support when needed, I am confident in approaching the management team for advice and support. Any pay issues from my staff have been rectified in a timely mannor. Personally,I have never had any issues with my pay.

Speaking for site workers , we do not get paid nearly enough for all we do we are responsible for so much yet paid so little I would hope that management would have a look over this issue and reduce work load or pay us more for the amount we do.

Worst company

Long hours with little to no breaks, bad management, don't expect to get anywhere significant while working for cordant. All managers give there friends there best positions. Don't expect holidays as the forms will get 'lost'. Oh and if you do leave don't expect to receive your accumulated holiday pay. Refusing to pay me my £500

have worked with this company since we tuped 3 years ago previous managers wasn’t to bad but since cordant got it communication has been a joke ... one to one’s next joke haha holiday pay what is this madness you speak off they never pay you full rate of holiday pay if your standard shift is longer than 9 hours, and that is if you get full holidays due to lack of cover and other people being hypochondriac’s when your on holiday so they tell u that we can’t let u have a holiday due to no cover, no pay rise since company took over and no extra pay for working weekends or overtime what a joke even if your on the brew I would advise looking at something else that this company it’s not worth signing up with them.

Not a good company

I can just talk about middlesex areas. Disappointment starts from the beginning.They advertise the job as full time 6 on 3 off. When its time to sign the contract, its zero hour.Think how you gonna feel after you give notice to current employer only to be offered zero hours.Then comes manager who wont care about you,controller at control room are so rude and deny or offer shifts on personal favors. Atleast I had full time hours but still feels its the worst company i have worked with.Because I have seen many collegues coming in to my site and complaining same story.Since then I left the company and my ex-co worker who had fulltime got the same fate. So even for those reason,if u plan to join this company, atleast dont resign from your current employer and hope for the best

Management fail

I'm still working for these people as far as i know and been waiting for a new site to work on after a trivial incident got me kicked off a site. My real crime was my honesty, had i said nothing, i would have easily gotten away with it. This company has a ton of sites all around my area desperate for guards, and yet they magically have nothing for me. Talked to several managers but no one will help me, if you are no use to them they just don't care. They'll just give you some bull shot excuse about protecting their training budget and leave you high and dry. All this despite the fact I've been nothing but loyal to them and available to work for the last two and a half months. I had been planning on moving to another part of the country, which has fallen through, because you know it's kinda hard to move when you've got no income to pay for everything and the loan you got for moving house has run out because you needed to feed your kids. I had been enjoying working with this company, but after this ordeal i think it's best to just get a new job. This companies management is just a collection of self absorbed class holes. Give the whole company a wide swerve, it'll save yourself some future headaches.
