Leave well alone they phone you all the time to see if you can work every where, they are not supportive the pay is not enough for what they want you to do very bad company to work for, for me 3 years was enough, keep away if you can

Manager is full of bull unless your one of the lads in the click then you can do what you want some of us have to work but some just go on shopping trips and hr department ignores you when you complain management all stick together

Shocking company - stay well clear!!!!

Management in Glasgow have no idea what they are doing. Treat staff appallingly. Pay department also no idea what they are doing. Constantly underpaid. HR also no idea what they are doing. They ignore all emails and don't answer calls when you are looking for advice, yet they expect a quick reply when they are asking. Whole company is a sham!

If you're planning on going into security look elsewhere! These guys won't listen! Especially when you need more hours after they only give you 16 hours a week

Bad company to work for

Bad company to work for you are just a number and underpaid and unappreciated management is nonexistent you have to book holidays a month in advance and half the time are denied also if you leave the company and have holidays left they tax you heavily on them so you end up with next to nothing the uniform is awful

Very bad place to work

Managers used to fire workers unfairly. No proper training.The environment was quite good but the management was very bad.Manager are useless and very selfish.

Awful - AVOID if you like to be able to afford things and have a social life

Cannot and will not pay holiday properly, clueless management, operations managers are no better. No development or advancement opportunities at all. Handbook states that the company will help train its employees but when you ask for it you will not get it. Hourly rate is less than everyone else on site and will not go up. They will ring you up on your very few rest days trying to bully you to come into work for no incentive, There is no work life balance with Cordant I would advise you stay away.

The Manager is very helpful and understadning. I learned time management skills, due to working as Security Officer. The best thing about the job is the envornment and colleagues.

Awful office staff

Awful company. Whenever something needed sorting like holiday or wrong pay couldnt get in touch with them. Had to leave,absolute pisstakers. Hardly any support and just expected to wing it and get on with it. Not bothered if any incidents take place. Ask you to rearrange your holiday and withhold pay from you when you give your notice.

Repetitive hours low pay

If you like working long hours for very little pay then this is the company for you the hours were set I worked every Weekend and often in my own when there should have been two guards on trying to save money and costcut after nearly a year then try to bill me one hundred and fifty pounds for my uniform and by the way if you need to speak to there national control centre good luck with that they never pick up maybe after forty minutes or an hour overall I would avoid this Company I've been in the industry for over 30 years and I can honestly say this is possibly the worst Company I worked for

Bad Company To Work For

Disrespectful company with no duty of care if you do over time you don't get paid correctly and if you got illnesses they have no compassion and no support from your management and if you leave at a certain time you have to pay back your training fee and if you don't send full uniform back there take it out your final wage so if you wanna bad company choose this one I can only suggest to you look elsewhere.

Good work place

Very good to work for help is always there if needed. Management is always there to help you. Also the work is always there. I have been with the company for 18 month and have not had any issues what so ever.

Dealing with shoplifters, unruly children, and drunks. Long shift hours. Unpredictable shifts No proper days off. Lack of proper management, couldn't get hold of them in a crisis

Only a stepping stone to elsewhere

To start with a pro, the hours were okay. You only worked 13 hours on a Sunday. 8 hours training for the job, then left on your own. Low pay. In retail security, you might not be treated as an employee so if you are marshalling, no one will cover your break. Rota changes like every 2 seconds. Getting in touch with control was a gastly. Area manager was pleasant and nice, helpful. Not a full time career, spend a couple of months there and move on.

Worst con company around. Managers are cowboys and not professional, jumps to any female nice looking individual secretly.Impossible to be recognised for the hard work put into. Never get into this company.
