It's aight to work here

Cordant Security is a company that pulls no punches straight forward management pay is something to be desired somewhat basic company but they do give all the normal stuff Double time on bank holidays Christmas be. But don't expect any wage increases already it's £10.05 an hour and has been for the past 3 years.

Not a bad company to work for, loads of hours available if you want them, constant management visits and always available day or night for any site issues you have

Professional from the old Securiplan days until now!!

I have been with the Company from the Old Securiplan days / Advance / to Cordant -- and I'm still here? -- an old timer.! There must be a reason? There have been good days and bad but you address the" bad ones" with your respective management you would more than likely be successful and satisfied. The question of communication works both ways. Have worked with a number of different \managers over the years and have always had a positive conclusion. One thing I've never had a problem with is the salary - one could always do with a bit more BUT it's always been in the bank - you've never had to fight for it.

Great Company

I have worked for Cordant for nearly 4 years and I enjoy my job and my work colleagues are helpful and friendly, we all get on extremely well. Team leaders and managers are always available whenever needed and encouragement and support is always given. Since Covid19 we now work from home and I feel we have been given all the equipment, training and support needed.

This company are the worst company I have worked for they left me on a site on my own after having a mild heart attack at work the same night and then because my partner stopped working for them they then took all my shifts off me and wouldn't give me any more then while I was sat on holiday they took all my holidays off me they then don't answer they phone I have had to contact 15 different numbers to get through to anyone the managers are they don't look out for there staff they have no back bone what' so ever I also have a attachment to earnings with the court they take £300 a month off my wages but then don't pay it to the court they are such users it's unreal they will either give you no shifts or 90plus hours a week arrogant and disrespectful

Great Company to work for

Cordant Security is a great company to work for, good pay and good holiday entitlement. The pre-employment team are very helpful. Uniform is given on the introduction and they will pay for your SIA Licence for you, although on some contracts you have to pay back over 12 months, which is interest fee.

Good career minded organisation

I have worked for Cordant approximately 22 years. I believe that remaining with a company for that length of time indicates how good that company is in terms of work/life balance, fair treatment of employees, consideration of employees aspirations and help towards achieving them. I have always found it easy to discuss any problems or difficulties with my management team and also best ways to perform my duties or improve the way I deal with the client and other staff or colleagues at my site. In dealing with the other departments at Cordant I have generally found them to be helpful and they have generally solved most problems or provided guidance on subject matters within their control. I believe that, certainly in my case, Cordant are concerned about their employees futures and wish the best for them. There are opportunities available within Cordant and there are few restrictions for employees who wish to avail themselves of these.

I have been with Cordant Services for over twenty years - since 1999 - and would not hesitate to give a good recommendation. The most enjoyable part of the job is the overwhelming sense of belonging and awareness of job satisfaction.

Supportive management

I've been employed by Cordant for 10 years now. In this time, I have learned a great deal from the management team and from colleagues and clients alike. Management have always supported me with my CPD and have envolved me in projects. As a site based operative, it is essential to have management support when needed, I am confident in approaching the management team for advice and support. Any pay issues from my staff have been rectified in a timely mannor. Personally,I have never had any issues with my pay.

Great company, great manager, supportive

Great manager, my manager was very helpful and helped me any way he could when I was struggling with my mental health. He always checks in now to see how I am doing. My area manager is great. Its a very good company to work for if you do what your told. Different shift patterns and flexible if needed. Sometimes shifts can be long but it depends on where you are based. Only downfall is that it is minimum wage for the type of job.

Great place if you actually wan't to work

A Good Company To Work For

I have worked for Cordant for a while and can honestly say they are a good company to work for. In my time at Cordant I have had regular shifts and the pay packet has always been accurate.Ops Managers are easy to get along with and are always there for support. If you call them and they don't answer, more times than none you will get a call back or a text message.

Cordant is a good company to work for , the people are friendly and welcoming, the job is fast paced and an enjoyable, they have been very supportive especially during the difficult times with Covid. Management is supportive with training on joining and on going training, they are quick to respond to any queries. Any problems faced by staff from outside sources are dealt with quickly and efficiently by management and staff are made to feel valued. There is a lot of self management and trust in the day to day actives, there is not a micromanagement culture although there are targets to meet
