Great company to work for, staff really friendly and helpful and always at the end of the phone for any problems. It's a really good company for opportunities to move into the fuel industry.

My Real Experience with Core Drivers & Job as a whole -I found them Absolutely Astonishing. They Were always on-hand to answer any Queries. They have a dedicated Team. All but Nothing Professional. They work on behalf of a Blue Chip Client - (I'll move onto later) I Enjoyed a Great time and Pay was always on time (If not earlier than expected) Best Bunch i've ever come across. Honestly! If you are looking to get into this Industry - look no further.Core Drivers Work on Behalf of a Blue Chip Company. This Company is a Blue Chip Firm with Core Values which strive for Care; Ownership, Strive for Excellence. With all this - Mind, Comes in Place Strict Company Policies, Which need to be taken Extremely Serious. Professionalism needs to be Shown in every Aspect. The Company Provides a Service to the Biggest Names such as Shell, BP, ESSO. With such a Clientele comes in place Strict Policies which need to be Adhered too. Simply Put: If you Do the Job as per your Training and Professionalism is shown with Passion and Dedication, You will be absolutely Fine. If you Cut corners or Think otherwise then this Career Path is Maybe not for you? This is a Hands On Roll. You need to be Actively Fit. From the Start till the end of your shift. You need to be on the Ball. A lot of care and consideration also needs to be taken and YOU NEED TO BE SWITCHED ON throughout your Shift. As Mistakes Can Very Very easily occur. This is a Professional Role Please do not Mistaken this Role for your Norm - General Haulage, etc..The Driver Trainers are Absolutely Top of there Game, (Shirt and Tie) They will -

Good place to wrk

Good comapany, got me a start into tankers. Staff always very polite and helpful, always replied to any questions quickly. Was given a good amount of shifts and always given a rota well in advance, even got offered overtime numerous times. Wages always paid on time and always correct. I Havent got a bad word to say about them, would reccomend

Best agency I've worked for

Zero complaints. They got my foot in the door. Always had work for me, always super helpful and polite on the phone and always work well with me for any time off or queries about the job.

Polite. Easy to work with. Understanding of other commitments outside of work.

General agency terms. E.g not guaranteed and security

Good place for work

Enjoyed working for the Core Drivers. Never had any issues. Payment always on time. Guaranteed hours paid, even when no work is available as per contract.

Stay clear

Class 1 ADR Driver (Former Employee) - Billingham-on-Tees, North Yorkshire - 4 April 2023

Worked for core drivers for 6 months , they expect you to have no home life all you are doing is filling in shifts that full time ppl don’t want , some weeks you may only get 2 shifts so make sure you are financially stable if you apply and take this job , never get weekends off, cannot get holidays when requested, rate of pay is poor

Excellent agency

Easily the best agency I've worked for in 20 years. All relevant information given upfront, with no BS. I didn't really have much contact with them on a day to day basis because there just wasn't any need. Shifts were allocated as promised, minimal changes, no hassle, never any mistakes or confusion about anything. Wages always correct. Any time I did have to speak to them, always got a prompt reply, all the staff were really nice, friendly and helpful, even managed to help in some unexpected ways. They seem to be very professional, do their thing flawlessly behind the scenes, and don't bother you needlessly about anything - which is exactly what you want. Never missed a beat as far as I'm concerned. Very happy to recommend.

Toxic

Class 1 Adr petrol tanker driver (Former Employee) - Immingham, Lincolnshire - 16 July 2022

A lot of pressure to please the top to be looked kind upon. The agency verbally demands 247 flexability on a zero hour contract(illegal). Make sure your financialy able to support yourself after training, an average of 2 days a week work for 7mth or you will pay it all back(£1500+). The agency is a husband & wife team. There answer to honest reviews is "this driver didnt work for us", we all wish we hadn't. Good luck if you try.
