Work-life balance

Security Officer in London
on 26 April 2021
Stressful work all the time
I'm working for 2 year, Their local management are very bed but higher management are good but they always refer your complain to local management and they play politics to save each other even their wrong. You will have no secure job, every month they move different site and it will be far-away from you home, sometime you have no job and they are losing sites very day due to bad management. Please stay away this company.

Site manager in Leeds

Unfair and no support
Corps values are Loyalty, integrity and service. What a joke, I was a loyal and hard working employee, went above and beyond for them, even had an article in their newsletter thanking me for my efforts and accomplishment at one of the Leeds sites I managed. Had nothing but gleaming reports from the client. But I was shown the door because of one persons grudge against me. This person was a member of managements good friend. There’s your loyalty and integrity. So because of this me and my family have suffered severely, the client suffered, and my former staff now have to suffer after I just made the job enjoyable for them. Good job if you want to be just another number.

Boots site protection in Boots Nottingham
on 24 January 2021
Worked on their boot site worst manager ever
Excellent company if you like to be,backstabbed, lied to be messed about. Site manager not to be trusted with anything he says, absolute toxic man.Very stressful place, not for the work, because of the management, too many people being above themselves telling you how to do the job, each one of them has a different way of doing it so no matter which way you go you’re always gonna be wrong with the other. Too many people that should’ve retired 10 years ago thinking that they’re all better than everybody else, on-site training goes as far as there is your station learn the job.I am surprised the company is biggest boots allow their site protection to get away with so many different things it’s unbelievable, boots itself should do an enquiry into what they’re actually paying for, they will be better with children running their site protection
