Manic work environment. No company strategy
You are promised everything to lull you into a false sense of security. Many people I have spoken to feel as though there isn’t any clear progression and progression seems to be if your face fits. Work life balance is shocking. You are expected to work late and sometimes sacrifice your weekends with little thanks. You get no time in lieu so if you do give up your weekends you won’t be able to claim your time back. Pay is poor and pay rises seem to go to those big personalities who can throw their weight around. Salary is never advertised and it’s not uncommon to find people who have less responsibilities in their role are on more money than you. Stay away from this company a lot of changes are happening and there isn’t clear direction for the business.

Good company to work for
The support from my manager I cannot fault, they have gone above and beyond to help me progress. However the company’s security recently with people high up leaving delays peoples progression and promotions. It’s unsettling as what’s going to happen when high up people leave. Bar that I cannot fault the company.

Very stressful and not nice place
I wanted to work in a friendly place with opportunities for development but this is a stressful place! bosses lie that people will get contracts if you do a good job and you will be fired anyway. no emphasis on health and safety. I do not recommend to anyone

Pressurised but fun
Very little initial training and they expect you to hit the ground running. I hadn’t worked on RC Frame but was expected to know all about it. Lots of stress/pressure but overall an ok place to work but mainly because of the people. Lots of in-house courses which you had to attend. Build Schedules often not up to date and Site Managers expect you to read their mind when it comes to material Del dates. They like their sacrificial lambs when build is behind!!

Good company, but salary not...
As I already wrte above...Good atmosphere at work, good workmates. Not adequate management for quality requirements for this job. Very poor possibility to be promoted.
