Over-stressed staff

Countrywide takes their staff for granted. Staff leave and they never replace them, instead you are expected to take on their workload.

Bonuses are poor and haven't been given for the last two years due to poor company performance.

Good, supportive company culture

Good company with great management, good prospects of moving forward. All problems get addressed in the first instance, so staff can focus just on doing what they are meant to.

Mentally draining and utterly soul destroying

Management have a do as I say not as I do attitude. Staff are treated like infants and micro managed. Forget trying to get a day annual leave approved. If you are not in favour you won't get it. Poisonous, poorly paid and worst place I have ever worked. Do not work here

A Joke

They are a joke to work for.

There is no logic to how the MD's operate and communicate.

Long unnecessary regular conference calls.

These are done as a tick box exercise and the focus is on achieving a pledge given at the start of the week which rarely reflects budget targets- so praise is given to achieving a pledge even though the pledge was lower than the budget figure needed.
