Good place to work. My suggestion would be to increase salaries especially during the cost of living crisis, and maybe offer more flexibility around coming into the office for people that have kids etc

Fast paced

Lots of opportunities working with clients and investors. RÉO was my focus and did very well. I went out on my own and did the same thing. Good people. Fun atmosphere

The management Is poor clicky if your fave dont fit ur screwed , you don't get any support through anything, expected to meet targets don't get any thanks all bout money.

Not what was advertised

Was only there 3 months as I was promised a team but instead made to go out on my own to jobs way beyond a sole worker and machines always breaking down with no rush to fixIf I'd have had 1 or 2 extra guys then the job would have been bearable

Fantastic people and supported staff, we all go out together, like a family x

Fantastic management, so many incentives and also a wonderful place to work, been in property management for many years this company have not only supported me in work but personal. we are a great team and i recommend you apply. fun and fab sometimes stressful but the support is amazing from the management team. I have been here for 19 months and even though its a 50 mile round trip i actually want to come to work!! We are a great team who work together x

Supportive and fun place to work

This is by far one of the best offices I have worked for. The team are amazing and everyone is so different from each other and it bleends so well. Its like a family rather than Co-workers. The support to learn and grow and achieve goals is always there. Everyone helps everyone. The work is challenging but so rewarding to feel that sense of achievement once finished.Incentives and games to motivate and get the team together are always fun and inventive.The best part of the job is the team and support and kindness. The hardest part of the job can be the workload and being on the phone to upset customers but the next call is different person so its managable. We start the day with team meetings and figures provided then off we go to deal with our emails, calls and tasks for the day. We get calls during the day and urgent issues pop up but we handle it well and the support is there when needed. we encourage and celebrate even the small wins like ending on todays date of emails. I couldnt recommend this workplace enough it is the best place I personally have ever worked. .

This company is an amazing place to work as it gives support inside and outside of work, helps to develop you in the job role and a the office atmosphere is amazing everyone is nice and the hours are set and amazing to work round

Fun and busy!

I have been working at Countrywide as a property manager for over a year now, this can be a very busy role though the team is amazing and you get really good work experience in property, if you are a person looking to get into property and to be trained by a supportive team then here is the place to be! There are incentives for work your best!

an amazing place to work

really great atmosphere. managers always doing fun incentives to keep us engaged. answering calls, making calls. assisting with queries from tenants and landlords and helping resolve maintenance issues or deposit queries. No two days are the same and this is what I love about the role. The management team we now have are amazing and always there to support and guide us. Very hands on and present head of the office manager and very approachable - which for me is the highlight of the job as he is never too busy to help us.

The work is busy, which makes your day go quick, the training is excellent both in house and with Learning and Development team, the Team are so welcoming and easily the happiest place i have ever worked.

A lovely place to work

I have been working for Countrywide since April 2022 and I absolutely love working here. The people make it an amazing place to work. We are all like a little family here. I thoroughly recommend working for this company.

Poor pay, overworked and under staffed, training given in dribs and drabs - no actual structure to anything.The job itself is easy enough but the people In the office is what breaks it! Takes a toll on your mental and eventually physically health having to sit for 8+ hours in a toxic and negative atmosphere, majority of the women over 30 will stick their nose up at anyone younger than them and you are made to feel stupid if you ask for help on something you’re unsure of due to the poor training.No flexible working availability, new manager comes in and demands a dress code, which is really helpful in the cost of living situation if you’re already struggling to pay your bills with the peanuts given from this disgraceful company, you now have to pull money from thin air to buy a new wardrobe!

Horrible And Fake Managers, Stressful, Underpaid And Poor Working Environment

This is the worst place you could ever work for as a property lawyer or case progressor. During recruitment, they will feed you with so many lies but after you get the job you will realise how horrible it is. The training is poor, badly structured and the trainer is rude and unprofessional. Then after training the job itself is stressful so many calls with a poor system, unrealistic targets, the managers and supervisor got no people skills, they are fake and they will mistreat you. It's all about politics in there, lots of gossipping and if you can play the game you will have an OK life and promotion even if you're not good at the job but if you can't expect to be treated horribly

Real Bad place

This place is the worst. They treat everybody like nobody, including employees and customers. . They do not like to pay their employees and also hard time getting refunded to customers. Chose wisely

Awful to work for min wage max hours

Countrywide West Yorkshire only interested in profits for bosses not interested in staff paid less as a supervisor than other employees daily journeys not worked out properly only buys second hand machinery and vehicles which are constantly breaking down




Unserviced machinery, no official training employ people just to fil gaps with no experience or knowledge

Only interested in themselves

Promotion structure is all lies. Mental health support is none existent. Senior management is dreadful. Pay is by far THE WORST. 14k salary is not normal for an estate agent. Promise the world, deliver nothing. Honestly, don’t even bother. Drained my life away for years here.

Totally up and coming

We have recently undergone management change and it's like a breath of fresh air , we still of course face challenges but hopefully with mire recruitment we will be back to the home I started in 7 yrs ago , staff were happy and content , we are moving forward now and it's brillant .

No training and no support

No support, thrown into the role promised training and had deductions from my salary that promised to provide a qualification but they then decided it wasn’t necessary and said they weren’t going to refund staff for the deduction, even though no training was provided and no qualification was offered. Scam really and very poor work life balance. Management are rubbish and don’t seem to have a grip on anything they just want you to read from a script 6 days away and don’t you dare deviate because they will pull you into a meeting and play your call back to you! Bit archaic and old fashioned, other estate agents offer better commissions and better work life balance.

Lack of opportunity and poor pay

I have been working for Countrywide for almost 3 years and I have worked too hard for a company that has only ever made promises that did not transpire. I am also the longest serving member of staff on my team.I worked from home throughout covid without a single day of furlough. 2.5 years later, I am still required to work from home 1 day a week, which I am still using my own personal devices (laptop and mobile) to do this. I have not and will not be compensated for the wear and tear on my devices despite having to use them for over 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, for 2 years. Also, I was not provided with a suitable workspace throughout covid which I refused to buy myself until I started to have physical problems due to sitting on a dining room chair for over a year for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I believe I will have to endure these problems until a chiropractor can correct them (if this is possible). Due to many staff being on furlough and then never returning to work for the company, I have always been over allocated work. It was very easy to work extreme hours due to the work from home setup. Quite often, I would still be working at 9/10pm. This was purely to try and keep up with the work for my own sanity but I was never paid to reflect this or appreciated by my seniors for only just keeping up with the heavy workload and never missing a deadline. I did not need a pat on the back, but when there are other members of staff who miss deadlines time and time again and cost the company hundreds or thousands of pounds in service credit notes, I think success should be recognised. -
