Fun, Great Environment, Friendly
Temporary Contract (Former Employee) - Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire - 16 March 2019
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedIt was a great place to work, with friendly people and a lot of great things to learn. I typically helped out around the office, filing and double checking some documents and made my own project as part of the work experience. The hardest part was getting used to the new software, but once settled in it was enjoyable.
Pros
Great Environment and people.
Cons
Getting into the job.

It’s been a better place to work at previously, we are now just a number
multi skilled operative (Current Employee) - Burnley - 13 November 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Decent overtime rate, canteen food ok, some colleagues are ok to work with. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Working to unachievable KPI’s, management unapproachable and machines don’t work What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Morale is shocking in all areas, the factory is too small for the work load What is a typical day like for you at the company? Very stressful running machines, can’t seem to have a good day with the problems on the machines.

Don’t do it.
Warehouse Operative (Former Employee) - Gainsborough - 18 March 2023
Always advertising for staff tells you all you need to know about this place. It seems ok at first but if your face doesn’t fit and you are not one of the clique then you will be given the worst of the jobs and forever be told you aren’t quick enough. Forklifts are limited to a snails pace for safety which is fair enough but you’ll still be told you are too slow. You can’t win. Training is non existent too plus it’s 3 shifts and you are on the go non stop for 8 hours with 1 break that’s it. Cannot recommend at all.

Production operative
Factory operator (Former Employee) - Birtley, Tyne and Wear - 16 July 2019
It was a good place to work when I was employed by agency (central employment) at Gateshead but they give me a contract and 4 days before Christmas 2018 they made me redundant. The shift manager who was on my shift I did not get along with he seemed to have issues with me for no reason. (But I think I know the reason) seems not to be friendly towards me.
What now heard from a friend who works there still they've took on more agency staff a few weeks after Christmas. Terrible
Pros
Choice of cleaning you work clothes
Cons
Dirty dusty place

If you want your mental and physical health destroyed then this is the place to be.
Spoken to like dirt.
Treated like a slave
12 hour shifts fighting for a break in heat like you have never felt before
If you have always wanted to be on anti depression tablets then this is the job for you.
By far the worst place I have ever worked.

The Hereford site was a great place to work.
Despatch Operative (Former Employee) - Hereford - 5 January 2019
I worked an 8 hour week in various departments during my time there. I learnt many aspects of the job and received several qualifications. The whole site worked as a family as well as a team.

Production Operative (Former Employee) - Chester-le-Street, Durham - 19 December 2018
BUNCH OF LIARS.
tyical day- the leaders asking so much of you you do not have the energy to do anything else after work.
what i learned was if the face dont match or you speak to truth, its not liked and will be marked against you.
mangagment- dont care for the operators health or well being, even though they are the people that do the most work for minimum wage.
hardest part of the job was working my self to death while the shift mangers son walked around doing nothing looking at this phone all shift.
enjoyable and coveris do NOT go together
Pros
Non
Cons
everything

Bad experience
warehouse operative (Former Employee) - Birtley - 26 October 2018
Was just dumped on any machine without any kind of training and then made mistake after mistake as its very fast paced even the paper work makes 0 sense
The supervisors will go around asking workers who have been there for a while if they would show me what to do, they would hate this. They didnt like showing anyone to be honest. Just pulled faces at you muttering something, didnt make you feel very welcome or want to be there.bet the go through alot of staff because of this reason.
Another small thing is whats with the quality check. Its obscene. One slight tiny and i mean tiny bend or small crease its gets binned. The amount of plastics being binned is a joke
Overall i would not recommend anybody work here. Not a chance
Pros
Nothing
Cons
bad management, no training, current staff are depressed robots

Company isn't great to work for, treat their staff like slaves rather than workers. the factory itself is boiling hot you can hardly breathe in there.

bad employers
Print Operator (Current Employee) - nor eng - 1 November 2015
they believe in a culture of lies . they say they look after their staff health and safety but it is just a paper exercise . they use to be a secure employer but since the down turn every 2 or 3 years they have redundancies . all because they can,t manage the business . the boardroom makes a lot of bad mistakes and the proper workers are the ones that loose there jobs .
Pros
good people on the shop floor
Cons
boardroom cant manage the business

great people spirit!
Very political company, bleak future!
Poor approach to sustainability. Premises are alright. Has been making money for years, but infrastructures are been negleted.
Continuous take overs for speculation has left the equipment in not so great condition. Cost are normally cut from maintenance!
