Management dont care in the slightest. Promise you will get the help you need to complete your training, yet ask for a chat and get blanked. Numbers come first before training. If you're an a** kisser you will go far! Dont tell them you like being busy either just end up with a stupidly fast machine that nobody wants to go on.

its work /gym , its can be very warm in the summer but the breaks given is enough to cope , the work can be repetitive with a lot of heavy lifting and running around, The employs you work with are great , there wasn't a shift without a laugh ,That helped with the stress of the job . the pay is good without over time and with overtime it can be very good , time off over Christmas, Christmas voucher , tvs for the world cup . its a well oiled company that needs a few upgrades but overall great .

Poor management

Poor management and generally a poor job no proper training no support from management and shocking the difference between rules for others and new starters and I think it needs work on team management

Could be better. Not a job for the work shy hot physical work, with a good amount of technical knowledge needed. To this end the starting wage is low in my opinion, especially when taking into consideration the 4 on 4 off shifts. Biggest downside is the lack of consistency in priorities from management. Not out the ordinary to hear several different aims throughout a 12hr shift. Can hear concentrate on training at the start of a shift, then a few hours later be told not to bother with that concentate on something else, and later on be told another priority, all while keeping your extrusion line running efficiently. Usually happens when on day shifts during the mon-friday. Too many cheifs all trying to prove something pulling operators left to right on a whim. Would be much better if management could work in a consistant mannor.

Chance to learn a technical job. Decent numeration if you can progress through operator grades.

Hit and miss training, long hours, hot work, top down culture.

Bad working environment!

This job was awful. The heat in the building was ridiculous along with long working hours. The staff were jerks with major attitudes and very unhelpful. You get all the worst jobs to do like brushing up little plastic balls on the floor going around in circles for hours. Emptying polythene into a compactor every couples of hours. At the end of every shift I was exhausted and dehydrated because of the intense heat. I wouldn’t work here for 50K a year!

Home time.

Never work at this place!!! £25500 a year hahaha, its £23000 a year once you join

I was there for 9 months. The company culture is full of "gossip pirates." Seriously, the staff gossip like those in the Kardashian family or on that former reality TV show: Gossip Girls. So much slander and talk behind your back. Your mental health and physical health will be destroyed as a result. So much heavy lifting involved. Back pain, insomnia, increased hearing issues due to loud machines, throat pain because of plastic particulates circulating... There is always a high turnover and there is a shortage of staff all the time! The experienced staff working there have to work overtime. They have to work over 48 hours a week! Please take this review seriously. On the job description they do not tell you the truth! This review contains the reality of this job. Been there and done it. Avoid at all cost. Beware you have been warned!

The worst job in the world

If you want your mental and physical health destroyed then this is the place to be. Spoken to like dirt. Treated like a slave 12 hour shifts fighting for a break in heat like you have never felt before If you have always wanted to be on anti depression tablets then this is the job for you. By far the worst place I have ever worked. Slave labour are words to good for this place Stay well away
