Avoid working here it’s a terrible environment to work in progression here is ridiculous unless you’re a favourite or have family higher up if not prepare to be bent over and screwed from all angles while trying to work your way up all to be told no. management is poor couldn’t care for any employees and allways thinking of ways to screw you over years service gets you no where now days neither does skill level unless you’re one of the old boys don’t worry though if your transferring to coveris from another factory expect the highest grade possible

Very busy workplace. Time goes quick.

It’s a very busy place to work. There is always something to do so the days go quite quickly compared to a lot of jobs. The people seem friendly which is a big part of any job.

Pros

Good canteen facilities

Cons

Only one break

Not fun

Had A two day induction on how good the company was and how well they looked after the staff but all a smoke screen. Was not told how to do the job by the shift manager and the shift supervisor. Was asked to leave after 3 days of working there because I was to slow on the forklift. Management and supervisors should explain what is required of new staff and explain the job not just give them the paperwork and get on with it I know I have been a supervisor for 15years of my 30+years of working and I never did that I would spend weeks with them if necessary. Bad experience

Was just dumped on any machine without any kind of training and then made mistake after mistake as its very fast paced even the paper work makes 0 sense The supervisors will go around asking workers who have been there for a while if they would show me what to do, they would hate this. They didnt like showing anyone to be honest. Just pulled faces at you muttering something, didnt make you feel very welcome or want to be there.bet the go through alot of staff because of this reason. Another small thing is whats with the quality check. Its obscene. One slight tiny and i mean tiny bend or small crease its gets binned. The amount of plastics being binned is a joke Overall i would not recommend anybody work here. Not a chance

Pros

Nothing

Cons

bad management, no training, current staff are depressed robots

Great place to work.

A typical day at Coveris consisted of me learning to Drive a tug in the correct manner, Management were just about always there should you need assistance with any problems in helping you solve an issue. Co workers were great fun to be around not that you had a lot of time to talk as nearly always busy, the job was quite demanding and fast paced, some days you could work 5-6 hours and then remember break time, the day went very fast and always enjoyable. The hardest part of the job was the breaking down of reels. This was the most demanding job physically. Overall very unfortunate to have lost my job along with another colleague due to operational circumstances.

Pros

Great place to work.
