It would be a decent experience if you could get any response from management. I work in a house where there are 10 staff and the managers are based elsewhere. If you have an enquiry or a problem, as a night worker, you can only email the managers. Unfortunately, from my own experience, you never get an answer. It is very frustrating and answers the question of why is the turnover of staff quite high

Management expect everything for nothing. Don’t get the support when needed and they will quite happily throw you under the bus to cover their own backs. Expected to not have a home life and work lots of double shifts for poor pay. Management don’t take service users needs and requests in to consideration. There for 6 months first few weeks was great then when down hill from then. They can’t keep staff as they treat them like garbage. It’s very poorly run

Management bully staff on a regular basis, poor pay , overworked with no thanks, monetary fines imposed on staff. Refuse to enhance workers overtime pay.

Service users are great but can be challenging, most staff try their best to support in what is a challenging environment.There is a lot of bullying with in the service and that comes from the top down, some of the management team go above and beyond to make the service a nice place to be for both service users and staff -Staffing levels are often low and a high staff change over.-Low pay that’s if you get paid correctly -more and more pressure put on seniors often doing the job of 2/3 people-can’t take annual leave unless you book it 6/12 months in advance ,due to low staffing levels-a lot of promises are made for improvement,but don’t seem to happen -new staff don’t get chance to shadow as they always seem to be a second support- inexperienced staff teaching new staff , most staff have been in the role for less than 6 months- lack of communication - some staff would rather sit on their phones than engage with the service users- scared to make a complaint against 1 of the management team due to their temper- can drain the life out of you If you there wanting to do your job well the service user are a great bunch and you can have a lot of fun.

Great place to work, opportunity to do up to level 5 in H&S care. Local and Senior management really supportive, pay competitive for support workers but not really competitive for roles higher

This company was horrific. I’ve worked within care for 5 years and this was the worst company I’ve ever experienced. AVOID IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR MENTAL HEALTH BECAUSE YOUR MANAGEMENT DO NOT!! No consideration or support offered to the staff working minimum 24 hr lone working shifts. The management passed on confidential information. Was not remotely person centred, more like parent or management centred.Claimed to be ‘non profit charity’ but this most certainly was not the case!

I have been working for creative support nearly a year now and find it very good to be a member of their team. I get flexible working hours that suit me and I can work around my family, staff and manager have been very supportive and a lot of training is given at creative support.

Working at creative support is great. All staff are so friendly and supportive. Clients can be challenging but so amazing too, you learn a lot from them. You get a lot of help and support from management. Honestly a lovely company to work for.

Very poor company to work for. Staff are shown little to no respect and paid very poorly for their hard work. The company claims to promote professional development but they actually hold people back from progressing. Many staff here are miserable and not friendly or welcoming. Very low morel amongst the employees. Staff turn over is shocking and not only does the company fail to address this issue but seems to actively provoke it. Just check out the feedback from other people who have worked for Creative Support. I would advise people to avoid working for Creative Support.

I enjoyed working at Creative Support and I had a great manager, who always sorted any issues out for me, everyone was friendly and helpful and i loved getting to know the service users, I learned alot of new skills with them such as hoisting and how to work with the different levels of disabilities.

The care workers there are some of the very best there is. It's a shame one cannot say the same for management. Their support to staff is minimal. Also the pay is low for the long hours and the stress that can occur due to the client group

The pay is low for the job we do its challenging work due to the clients we support management are ok but we have had no face to face support from management since march and sometimes get no response from calls and emails but there is good opportunity for promotion in the company pay over xmas and new year was appaling no extra pay for boxing day and double pay stopped at 12 noon new years day but I enjoy were i work and feel great each day when the clients i support are happy

Management don't no wot going on. New seniors full of themselves. No support given. Errors get covered up by another manager. Tenants suffer due to high turn over of staff. Staff lazy childish n tell tales. Managers don't listen to staff. Always short staffed. No thanks from management. Two faced. Throw u under a bus.

Creative support is a fun place to work, we are like one big family. Management are supportive and approachable. Hours are long and can effect your social life ,but there are definately worse places to work.
