Each shift is unique and full of excitement

The match days are great and full of fast based work ;I like how I can chose when I would like to work. My colleagues are roughly my age and so we get along well which allows us to work as an efficient team. I have learnt how to be a better communicator and team player through my interactions with more that 50 football fans a game!

Work at Crystal palace

Worked match shifts and got stock for every bar that needed food when they ran out. I learned how to work well under pressure and that it is important that the food gets delivered to a bar on time.

Pros

Free food

Cons

Stressful

productive and fun workplace

usually, you would count the stock, stock up the food and prepare to sell. Once on the till you will be required to serve the customers, the management is very good as everyone has an minimum target of the amount they should earn. The hardest part of the job is the rude customers apart from that it is an great place to work in and highly recommended

Pros

free meal and drink, socialable collegues, non-judgemental environment

Cons

stressful at half times and breaks

Fun place to work

Start the day with making sure each stand has what it requires in terms of equipment and food. Inspect the stands to see if there are any possible hazards that need to be attended to before fans begin to arrive.

Pros

Free lunch, get to watch the match

Enjoyable and Social.

On match days I provide the CPFC fans with a excellent information service, outside the ground. The job is unpaid voluntary, but we receive a free match ticket for our efforts. Generally, we have to locate the fans to the right entrance allocated, otherwise we deal with general information questions.

Pros

Free Match Ticket. Short Hours

Cons

Unpaid
