Just a job
Warehouse Operative (Former Employee) - Bristol - 7 November 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedLong hours, decent pay. Wouldn't really recommend working here long term. If there was reduced shifts I would have likely stayed. Training was easy enough to follow and understand.

Ok place if you are used to the cold and labor intensive jobs
Warehouse Operative (Current Employee) - Tilbury, Essex - 29 October 2023
Pay is relatively ok... You have to meet hourly targets. ... They'll literally hound you for that. Team leaders and co-workers are also relatively friendly. good opportunities for overtime.

Insights into Culina Group
Areas for improvement
- Sense of belonging
- Support from manager
- General feeling of work happiness
Pretty good job overall
Picker (Current Employee) - Tilbury, Essex - 29 October 2023
3 months into this job and i like it the pickrates are abit hard to reach but the pay is worth it and the management is generally okay, the cold is probably the worst part, there are some great benefits like hot drinks , leftover stock giveaways every other week and high overtime rate but the work is so demanding on your back that you will find it hard to accept that overtime

Friendly staff , good fleet, poor managment
Class 1 Driver (Current Employee) - Bristol - 30 September 2023
Bad side: As a driver you are not treated same as the other drivers(some getting same routes and shorter hours) , bad route planing, poor management, hours getting longer.Good side: Good fleet, not bad salary, easy job, friendly and helpful drivers, in general not bad company as the others.

Bad atmosphere, stressful
Order Picker (Former Employee) - Haverhill, Suffolk - 22 September 2023
Long hours, not enough breaks, the picking rate and supervisors are stressful. Usually, to hit your picking rate you have to have 24 pallets for the day which is 2 per hour roughly. Each pallet is with an approximate weight of 1000 kg.

Place to work while you look for another job
Warehouse Operative (Current Employee) - Tilbury - 2 August 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Convenient if you live locally What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Lack of hygiene. Foul toilets. Messy. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Manager s only care about rates. No sick pay. Minimum possible holiday. Canteen and toilets filthy. Penny pinching. Huge waste of food.Nobody stays long.

Repetitive task
Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver (Current Employee) - Salford - 25 June 2023
Fairly Ok place to work but slow about one's personal career development. Lots of overtime availability if you are interested flexible shifts available In the invent of a fatal accident leading to death, a specific amount will be paid to NOK.
Pros
A bit flexible with the working hours
Cons
Even when you are obviously sick, they still would want you to go in working

Avoid like the Plague
Class 1 LGV Driver (Former Employee) - Stafford - 24 March 2023
If you want to wait 2-3 hours for a vehicle or trailer that is roadworthy, do 15-hour days, and have poor standards, then you will fit in perfectly. If you do your job correctly and report all defects to protect your license, you will become subject to a clandestine witch hunt. That's what happened to me, and they fired me a day before I was due to hand in my notice (it was common knowledge that I wasn't happy with the total lack of standards) I could have appealed, but I received the written notice of my dismissal 4 weeks after the hearing, and therefore I had missed my opportunity to appeal because Culina have an appeal time scale of just 5 days from the date of the official written notice...and that had long since lapsed, as the notice was dated from the date of my hearing. In short, do not trust them. They will draw you in with tales of how fantastic they are, but you will soon see their true colors. They could offer me 3 times my salary to go back there, and I would not hesitate...I would turn them down in a heartbeat. I have standards, and they are way above Culina.
Pros
They fired me
Cons
They took me on in the first place.

not good to work for, long hours for minimum pay, no sick pay, horrible management, no progression, feel forced out, only good thing is the hybrid working, but that feels restricted

Do not work in IT for this company
IT Support (Current Employee) - Minworth, Warwickshire - 20 February 2023
If you're thinking of applying for a role in IT for this company, please think twice before making the biggest mistake of your life. They lie about staff getting new contracts, they give you the bare minimum days working from home, the salary IS NOT competitive, and they hire managers who openly bully their staff Infront of the office. If you're looking for a social life forget it. As they've brought out other companies, they expect you to do your own work load, plus the work of three other companies, for the same pay. Also , you have to be invited into their benefits scheme which means you're practically not getting a bonus. You only have to look at the amount of staff leaving.
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Everything

Work is easy rates are fair but sometimes you will get bad picks which is down to luck but if your hitting your rates your good but team leaders can be harsh if your not hitting rates

Don’t go to this work place
Order Picker/Packer (Current Employee) - Bristol - 12 January 2023
This place is like Auschwitz. It’s better if you don’t have an opinion of your own. Payouts every month do not match. Overall I do not recommend.
