Really enjoyed working at Next DHL.Staff were helpful and friendly and the boss was very fair.I left because of the commute (80 miles per day round trip)Some of the items were very heavy and we didn't use tail lift or wheels for stairs.

Delivering to some beautiful places, meeting new people. Most customers were very nice, appreciated your work

Brilliant place to work

Love it. Management help you get on with the job. They don't pester you are push you in any way. I just get on with the job best I can helped with no rushing or hassle from above.Saying that they will help you 100% if you need help.I'm a hgv driver and this has got to be the most relaxing job I've ever had with absolutely no hassle or pushing from above.I just recently moved here from another DHL site after 10 years service and the transition was handled excellent.Trucks are excellent clean, no oily pipes and even free tea coffee, sometimes even cake available all the time in the drivers room.I'm never ever leaving till I retire or die of bliss.Wages aren't the best but easily made up for the fact they pay you full shift hours even if you only do a short run.

M&S discount card, easy job, lovely attitude to drivers

Poor wages but they not the worst

Gone down hill since dhl parted ways from Debenhams. You only get payed for the hours you do . So if your given a 5 hr store delivery that’s what you get payed.

Being agency, there was always a chance of me being released, or minimum availability, I do feel however, that after over 3 years of service, I should've been made core staff, to have avoided such a thing. I would advise against anyone work via agency, and to ensure you have a standard contract at any workplace as protection

The whole business is being hampered by managers of Polish descent and their friends, fictitious work by agencies. DHL is not run by managers, but by employees who have influential friends in the DHL administration. And it will continue for many years.

I ussually liked morning shift i was most effective and successfull, i learned scannig, picking, sharing information, every time when it was an issue or problem you could turn to management desk to solve it and figure out, the realationship was friendly and coolaborative, team work spirit, the most hardest time of the job was in the middle of the summer when it was really hot, the most enjoyable part of the job you realise you reashed the targets, escaped from mistakes or errors and thats makes you trust your self and honor the job

Worked security there

I worked security there for five years some good people but very poor management the manager is arrogant and doesn't back up the guards. When the security was run by man commercial it was great but when compass took over two years ago it rapidly went down hill we lost over ten guards I left to work for man commercial again
