Fun at times but rewarding

Ok to work at. That's it. It's a professional company alright but it's lacking a little innovation compared to others in the same industry sector.Too many speed limted vehicles also unless your self employed. Then you get given a nice spec Yellow Transit van or similar to run ragged as you wish. Also you take home more pay(£££) than fully employed staff and are paid per parcel successfully delivered rather than an hourly rate. Also they don't like you to finish work early at anytime. They would rather you work overtime than finish early. To compensate for not finishing early, they give you rubbishy benefits like private dental care and online money off vouchers via a specific internal website shop.They are also very smarmy when it comes to trade union support should you ever need it.
Pros
Xmas parties and novelty perks like breakfast and treats in the day, Big Day Out freebies, endless free packaging and utilities, 50% off sending parcels, etc
Cons
Awkward management, not sympathetic towards personal circumstances, dirty vehicles on the inside, pristine on the outside, very rare early finishes

Terrible place to work
Driver / Courier (Former Employee) - Birmingham - 23 September 2021
DHL are a terrible company to work for, long days with no appreciation from the management I had to leave because of stress.I am a lot happier now working for Tesco.

Okay place to work
Courier Driver (Former Employee) - Oxford - 15 January 2020
Okay place to work but can be very demanding & fast paced especially around the holiday periods but Dhl do offer good incentives around work & good work force whilst I was there
