Reviews about Pay & benefits for Truck Driver at DHL
Long hours
HGV Driver class 1 (Current Employee) - East Midlands Airport, Leicestershire - 15 September 2023
The hours of work are extremely long and no one seems to care. I am supposed to work 48 hours a week but it's currently over 60. The plan is supposed to be 10 hour days but you are waiting so long to leave the depot and then they give you a 10 hour run after waiting 5 hours. I hope it improves because I was really hoping DHL would be different and I could have a bit more of a work life balance; these hours are just not sustainable long term.
Pros
good pension and holidays
Cons
Long hours

HGV Class 1 Driver (Current Employee) - Worksop, Nottinghamshire - 7 June 2023
work seems to be fair on average and relatively simple, good pay and a training team are fantastic, actually seem to care which is rare to find as I have found
