HGV Driver class 1 in Stafford, Staffordshire
on 18 March 2021
Hard working but very caring to staff
Great place to work if you are prepared to work hard. Obviously lots of travel and nights away from family. That is the hardest bit, missing you family. Or not as the case may be lol. Good vehicles to drive and new additions to the fleet on a regular basis.

I really enjoy my job as Key Account Manager at David Watson Transport Stafford. The role is very busy and varied. Everyday is different. You are given the freedom to make the role your own by looking after current clients and having the time to research and prospect new clients. We work as a team and the more experienced staff members are always on hand to offer help and advice. Management and Directors are all approachable and willing to help when required.

Fantastic company
The work here is very good- just enough to keep you going without being snowed under. The earls colne depot at which I am based has a family friendly feel that all support each other with regular group trips our. Management are supportive and the HR manager is amazing knowing what she’s doing and gives excellent advice to me daily. I’m learning alot being her assistant. The pay is in line with similar jobs in the area so cannot complain. First time I have been at a company where I think progression is possible. I have the best laugh at work. Can’t recommend this place enough.

HR Assistant in Earls Colne, Essex

Look elsewhere
Very poor salary, happy to let good staff leave with no interest in keeping them. No management support at all. Workplace bullying in the office rife especially at Head Office in Earls Colne. No HR procedures to deal with workplace bullying and HR don’t seem to have a clue about how to deal with situations regarding employment laws. Management are rude, obnoxious and abusive at others expense. Employees records not kept up to date. Management are full of false promises. Staff either left to drown or have very little to do. You will get bored very quickly. Salary very very poor and pay rise offered was an insult. Save your time and effort and look elsewhere.
