Very good company to work for overall I have worked as an adult agency nurse with them for almost 5yrs now in between having permanent roles, my consultant has been the same person so good professional relationship, assisted with trainings and always meet my professional needs.

Pros

consistent shifts, timely pay and friendly team

Cons

low rates compared to other agency's especially for more experienced nurses

Poor environment and management

No progression and they treat people like they’re expendable while claiming they’re a ‘family’.Expect to be punished if you need a day off and expect to see more gossip than work being done

Potentially a great company ruined by poor middle management

Originally a great place to work, but poor senior appointments ruined a brilliant team spirit. If you're knowledgeable, you won't last - you'll be replaced by a puppet.

Challenging but fun.

Working with a new team most days as well as mixed shift patterns. I was managing different teams each shift and in challenging environments. Working in mental health made me polish my skills and develop new ones such as team work, leadership, management of challenging environments/ behaviours, empathy, quick thinker, resilient and flexible.

Great work

An interesting and dynamic role

As a whole I enjoy my work at Day Webster but I am at the stage where I need to move on further and would like to improve my work life balance . I feel I have more to offer than I am given credit for within this particular company. I work under the directors wife and brother and therefore I have a little chance to move up from the role I am currently in. Always giving 100% I feel that I have a lot to offer and always receive positive feed back from clients and all candidates that I work with . The hours are also unsociable which is something I am looking forward to change for the benefit of my own well being and my friends and family.

Pros

Interesting and fast paced role which suits my personality.

Cons

Long hours, poor management and poor communication amongst management and colleagues. Gossip work culture.

Day Webster is full of helpful and friendly people, who can be contacted by phone or email and will help with any issues you have. you can get paid the same day if you submit your time sheet before a certain time in the morning- which is brilliant.
