Good place to work
Debenhams was a good place to work at the start. The last year or so it became apparent that they had no money, even to sort essential things out like working door sensors, internal cameras etc.The trend to online shopping simply killed them off, which was a real pity as on the whole it was a brilliant place to work.

Fun and like a family
Was lovely atmosphere especially with the people you work alongside, sometimes you can get rude customers but that’s the same for all retail. Enjoyed working there as my first proper retail job.

front line staff are great, management is terrible. they make terrible decisions and only look after their own even if in the wrong
front line staff are great, management is terrible. they make terrible decisions and only look after their own. they are petty and if they have had a bad day or are in a mood, they are going to make you have a bad week

How would you make sure that you would make sure that the customers would be your priority? What kind of skills and attribute you have that you can bring to the team? What days are you unavailable?
