You can work there as a first job and they will provide all the training you need, but I would suggest stay clear.. it will make you hate retail! Worked in Debenhams for 2 years!!!!
Experiance is definatley not needed but a positive attitude will go a long way. If you have no experience then don’t worry they will train you up and buddy you with a full time member of staff to help you get started also if your successful in the job don’t be scared to ask your colleagues for help they will only be more than happy to help you
Of course you can
Need more experience to work at Debenhams also mon-fri only
They are very focussed on customer service and up selling so you need to be able to give examples of what you consider good customer service, Up selling demonstrates how you can increase sales figures.
The best thing to do would be to write a cv explaining your being un-experienced but also express your willingness to work how punctual you are and how hard working/what a quick learner you are.
I would say go for it. This was not my first job but I worked with people who were 16 and it was their first role. It's bout adapting to how they do things and learning their ways - easy of you've never worked in retail before.
Show on your CV that you have had experience working in teams and are a passionate individual.
Talk to the supervisor and she might consider you even though you haven't got any experience.
You don't necessarily need work experience. Many of the new members of staff actually had Debenham's as their first job.
