Rewarding
Started as a delivery driver in a different site, but thanks to helpful and competent management, i was offered to advance to lead driver, then shortly after training (1 month) i got promoted as a manager in a site all of my own. The team here works well, there’s communication and help going all around no matter who is asking and who is offering. As a driver, i enjoyed being on my own delivering, and being explained everything upfront on how everything works, and been offered the possibility to advance. Not saying it’s an easy job, but with some determination from my side, the company made sure to help me achieve all my goals, and to further advance my career in logistics. Would definitely recommend

Overworked, underpaid, stressful!!!
Seemed like a good job initially but the truth is it isn’t. If you’re an owner driver you will be left with very little of your weekly pay when considering van running costs, fuel! Putting money aside for tax/NI. If you rent a van it can be worse especially the extortionate costs for repairs. This is assuming you get a full weeks work currently getting about 3 days a week! The bonuses are group related so you’ll rarely see them and always the lowest tier! You will get concessions stopping you from receiving bonuses but will not be told what for? You are self employed and have to offer them your availability but they can cut your route with minimal notice and no guarantee of work. Throughout your day you have to report numerous issues with routing, maps, missing or damaged parcels but will never receive help if you have issues on the road! I can see how it was ok for those on thurlough looking for short term work and extra money during the pandemic but for anyone else considering it just DON’T DO IT!!! Original management appeared to care and try to help but recent managers are just doing their job and keeping favourites happy they don’t care about the drivers they manage/supervise they see us as disposable!!

Great work place and team work
Working for over 3 years for Deliverwize now and they have always came through for myself. From the first day i started and throughout the years they have always supported me and provide a great place to work in. And teamwork has always been their no1 choice.

Worst job ever
Firstly you could go there thinking your going to work and your route would be cut so you’d earn no money for that day and have to have an unplanned day off. If you sent the hired van they will stop your pay until you can get a quote, this was even during peak Covid when places were shut and a quote wasn’t as easy to get. You don’t really get any petrol money back, I think I spend about £250 a week and got £70 back for petrol. You can end up getting to the depo for 8am and end up not being on your route until day 11am and then have a 10hr day ahead of you. Overall they over work you and under pay you. I ended up loading more money than earning when I was there.
