Lovely place to work
Friendly, welcoming staff. Approachable Management who listen and care Busy and fast-paced but that’s my experience of schools in general. Pleasant working environment

Horrible
If face doesn't fit then SLT ain't interested. Its all about numbers to them, poorly paid and if you try to progress, they knock you back. Not understanding in any way, if you have children do not work for these! Trying to find alternative employment, this is the only reason I'm still employed here.

Awfully Stressful
Delta took over our school in 2017. They have systematically forced many colleges out of their jobs. They create a culture of fear, consistently hassle you by walking in class and undermine the class teacher. They run a draconian behaviour policy and terror campaign among students and staff. They refuse to let teachers advance further than M3. They hammer out any creativity and aspirations of newly qualified teachers. I can go on, avoid this academy trust until there's a serious cultural change.

Everything that is wrong with education
Delta academies trust is an awful place to work. The culture is draconian and ultimately toxic. They are a burn out and throw out organisations. Top heavy with management generally alpha male types who are regularly yes men, inexperienced and not substantive professional who are not allowed to think for themselves. If your face doesn't fit, they bully you out and pay you off. Not a nice place to work. Check out their first 5 reviews. All written on the same day by admin staff from their head offices.

I love working at Delta & would love to be more involved in supporting & to progress to work more with the behavioural side of school. Having worked in an SEN school for over 5 years, working with pupils of various ability & behaviour, which I love, my role is very different now. My colleagues have all been very welcoming, friendly & supportive. I am loving the job.
