Money ok if you have your own van. Van company rip you off for tiny scratch. Didn't know until the morning if you're working. Long days could be nearly 2 hours to your first stop.

Unreliable hours

I worked for just under 1 year. Management fine with me however I can understand why alot of people are fed up with them. Insane amount of parcels each day and never sure if you'd be offered a route from day to day.

Hard work but very rewarding

The company has good policy make sure you read the contract and make sure your willing to work hard and fast. the company will not support you through holiday pay but you can save your wages to cover this.

Offered Job then left hanging for over three weeks

Was offered a job then was left hanging for weeks with no communication. Had to tell them i was no longer interested. Cannot be honest and have no idea about keeping someone informed. If you let people know whats going on i.e communicate with people you might fill the roles you have. Nearly 4 weeks left hanging when i could have been looking elsewhere.

Terrible place to work. Knowsley depot is a place you must not go. Treat you like a piece of meat. Only care about themselves. Promise you work and don’t give you it.

Very happy here because of the team environment. Very friendly bunch. It's all go and no waiting around twiddling your thumbs. Best job I've ever had.

You work for yourself so you do as much or as little as you want, People are their to help, Paid well, Your looked after and plenty of work.

Theres a bad smell working with these, the jobs extremely stressful, your screams for help aint picked up, expected to pick up phone whilst rushing round delivering drop after drop or your dropped the next working day. Dirty used van, not new! Over worked, under paid and out of pocket. Not one care about your concerns

Numbers constantly jumping, paying you random ammounts, duducting random ammounts, adding charges, all while driving for amazon with your van stacked to the brim, makes a chinese sweat shop look like a holiday. the worst company I have ever worked for, bar non, whenever you question anything, you get passed around, no its the accounts, no its the van rental company, no its amazon...etc, worked 18 hour days non stop, no breaks, no bonuses because nobody follows the rules and if you did you would be comming home at 1 in the morning from 9am. Utter disgrace

I had an interview on the 16-05-20 with the lead driver and met the manager and had drug and alcohol test no problem there. I spoke with the lead driver on the 29-05-20 who said the manager had got my DBS check back and I could come for a classroom either Mon or Tues the next wk. Then on the 29-05-20, I got a call from the lead driver saying I could come in on the Mon for the classroom training at 10 am and hopefully could get my hire van afterward After the days course no van had come in but spoke with the lead driver who said I could get it the next day and start the next day. I then.got a text saying that Amazon had an issue with an e-mail set up for me as it was a spam account so they canceled it and through there stupid mistake and security protocol I had to have a 2nd DBS check done wasting more time. I then contacted Securitax a firm Deva put you onto to sort your pay/text etc out only to find Deva had given them a wrong spelled e-mail address for me! The manager passed the buck and gave me a phone number for head office so I had to sort this farce out myself. The 2nd DBS check came back on the 08-06-20 which the manager confirmed saying I might be able to pick up a van Tues or Weds and actually start work! On the 12-06-20 I got £75 into my bank for the day's classroom course not a lot when I should have been working earlier! The same day I got a last-minute text from the manager saying the van was now at the depot and could I get there for 12 pm I said I could get there for 2.30 pm but actually got there for around 1 pm I went to the Van with the manager and it was raining -

I recently gained an interview which lead to a job offer from Deva. Was promised £195 a week to rent a van and an early start date, this didn’t happen. I was told I could go collect my van, I got to the depot and it wasn’t there. I was told that it would be dropped off at my house, this never happened. 2 days later I was contacted saying I would have to pay £280 a week for the van and if I wouldn’t pay that I would need to sort my own van. Would not recommend, all lies.

Been working here at Deva since start of peak friendly team and great managers who go above and beyond work days can be hard but always had great support too many fake reviews on here best company to work for in Leeds I would know I’ve worked at others

Never ever work for them very bad experience and fake mangers I would like to advise the seniors of deva that you getting bad reputation just bcoz of your unprofessional mangers I hope you whach them out and I believe that you will definitely do sort things out as I see the team mangers as a drivers now good job deva thanks to the deva office

I’m spending about 1 year in deva and it’s really nice route in north Wales 1.30 hour to getting to your first stop for starters ist difficult to finish before 4 o’clock many people finishing at 10 night because is not that easy faund address and special in winter time when going dark very soon not job for everyone really

Don’t go anywhere near them

Horrible job. Excessive amount of parcels no guidance or support just! Claim you get bonuses etc which are none existent just out for there selves and want to squeeze the maximum out of every driver till you have nothing left! Then replace you with the next person who is drawn in by the fake £140 a day! Always taking money off you for something and so many hidden costs. Better off on jobseekers than working for these scam artists

Been here 4 months i get 5/6 days work every week. great pay if you hit bonus you can earn £150 per day. beats my dead end job in the warehouse i had boooom
