Call dispatcher in Dartford
on 16 September 2020
Busy but fun place to work.
If you want to sit and relax at your desk this probably isn’t the job for you. Lots of processes to learn but If you’re lucky enough to buddy up with a decent dispatcher for your training this will not be an issue. The job itself can be stressful at times but you have the support of your fellow team members and your teams leaders if required. Time Management is very important and you’re required to do this yourself with a gentle reminder of you forget. Overall I find this a great place to work if you’re into planned and reactive maintenance planning. Overtime is available which is always a bonus!

Productive
Typical day is 8.00am start and 6.00pm finish but every 3 weeks an Engineer is on call 24/7 so you can get called out to go to Tesco sites and fix the problem
Remote Engineer in South Yorkshire

Great Team, Great job, always something new. Prompt weekly pay.
Great team to work for. Managers provide anything required by the Engineers. Vehicle maintained ok. Fuel, repairs all provided. Parts replaced as used. Steady work pace, but can get busy. Great customers. PUDOs, in local areas for parts. Any needed can be ordered ready for the next day and picked up in the morning at 8:00am. Prompt weekly pay. Good dispatch team.

Not impressed
I worked here for a few years and made a significant contribution to the ongoing business success. Without doubt this is the most political business I have experienced- to the extent that I had to Manage my Manager!!
