Can be stressful
If you let stress affect what you do, this may not be the job for you. I personally went for the job with the intention of staying for 2 years, have stayed over 10 years.

Toxic micromanagement
The job is hard and stressful, there’s a huge amount of information to take in and it’s hard to pass initial spot checks. They micromanage every second of your day, down to making people explain why they’ve used the toilet (no dignity). Don’t dare be a second late on your break but you are just expected to stay late most days because you have to take calls up until finish time and some calls can take 25mins plus. The systems are terrible and actively working against you and then you are given a target lower then the time it takes to deal with most of the calls, but don’t dare miss anything off. You just can’t win. It’s impossible, so people either leave or don’t pass probation, and then because they’re short staffed they say you have to do the calls even quicker, creating a vicious circle. There’s no reward for those that put up with this. The only positive is you make good friends.

Worse place I’ve ever worked
Seriously the worse place you could ever work. New team leaders didn’t get training and threw in the deep end; one rule for one, terrible break/dinner times. Definitely seen as a number and not an employee. Was offered a 2 or 3% pay rise due to inflation, when that was declined a further offer with sick pay (where they should already have it) to previous members of staff who didn’t have that was offered & declined again. People have been working there for 40+ years and are on less than someone there for 6 months, terrible place of work, wouldn’t recommend.

Just don’t. You will regret it.Prospects poor.Salary poor.Work environment poor.You just feel like you are a number. And that is all you are. Current pay offer of 2.5% is a total joke with inflation at nearly 10% and thankfully the union has rejected it.Go elsewhere or you will regret it.

Low pay, awful management, no prospect of advancement, and high work loads.
The management are promoted beyond their ability from closed cliques. They will do anything to deny you a raise and you are made to feel that they are working against you rather than with you. Positive actions are overlooked, there is no point in trying. The management strictly impose trivial rules which creates a prison like atmosphere. Despite this the office is often very loud and it can be difficult to concentrate. If you are the manager's pet you can get away with anything. The whole culture at Diligenta is stagnant and more concerned with appearing to do something over actually doing something. Many processes are unnecessarily complicated and training is very poor. Pay is is also very low. The only positive is that the general staff are very pleasant to work with.I would recommend this job for someone who is looking for some experience in the sector but I would advise them to take another job if possible.
