I would pay attention to the way in which new members of staff are being introduced to the company and ensure the right people that follow the company “values” are responsible and held accountable for the high turn over within the credit hire department.
If I was site manager I would make sure that all my drivers were on the same wages based on their skill level for example hgv drivers all on the same amount and 3.5t drivers all on the same amount, bonuses would not be limited to who works the hardest, but also divided up by quality of work, more rewards for hard workers and people willing to go the extra mile.
