I went for an interview at the Irlam depot for a 7.5t driving job. The manager of the Manchester depot who was supposed to interview me wasnt in so the Wigan manager interviewed me. He was a very genuine guy ( i wished id been applying for his depot by end of the interview ) fairly informal interview, answered all my questions, told me all about the role. Obviously i know they arent going to mention the negatives but im old enough to take everything at face value. There is a fairly strict screening and background check, but this is understandable as there is a lot trust involved as the delivery drivers also install some products in customers houses. Screening process took a couple of weeks. During the interview i was asked questions like, "give an example of when you have gone and exceeded customer expectations" I was pretty much offered the job at the end of the interview subject to background checks and references.

16 however they tend to lean to people over 16 because of manual handling.
