I loved working here. Colleagues were lovely but i worked during lockdown times so it was difficult working more shifts. I only worked once a week. Training was long but worth it at the end and I’d love to work there again
Pros
Friendly staff, good hours and pay, job role was my favourite
Cons
No cons to be honest, it was really nice

The management had no idea what to do, the work place was toxic and really stressful. They expect you to do 200 times more work for less salary. No appreciation!
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Stress, no life balance, underpaid

This company squeezes everything out of you for the basic minimum wage, you complete 2-3 different job roles that with other employers would see you earning at least £1 ph over the minimum wage. You pressured day 1 to meet sales targets selling ludicrously priced accessories and told in occasion to lie to customers to get a sale through. They call it a team environment yet your pitted against your fellow sales colleagues in a trial by combat to get the figures. Management will threaten investigations into your performance, talk about you to other colleagues, and to top it off will encourage you to break rules to get the job done. It’s such a toxic and non rewarding place to work. I would not recommend it unless you enjoy being over worked and underpaid. And recently they posted millions of profits then decided to force all staff into contract negotiations to take away benefits and paid breaks and let go 800 managers all because they wanted all the millions not just some of the millions. Disgraceful company.
Pros
They took them all away.
Cons
Long hours. Over worked. Not appreciated. Pressure like you wouldn’t believe. Lies lots of em.

Long days was expected to work overtime between 12 to 15 hour days. Complete all deliveries before returning to unload the scrap from your lorry. Poor management. The driver is expected to explain to the customer why they did not get there delivery if you run out of driving hours and rebook a slot. 7.5t trucks falling apart than were not good in the lanes around the south west. Stay clear from this company.
Pros
Leaving the place
Cons
Long hours poor vehicle's poor management

Glad I got out when I did, The place is nothing but stress. No acknowledgment for any good that you do.Management is probably the worst I have seen in any retail store, So unprofessional! How certain people even got a management role with no prior experience before hand and started from the bottom and got high so quickly just says it all.. favoritism. Get ready to be completely ignored or just spoken to with the most disrespect.
Pros
Nothing.
Cons
Everything.

Although training is good and job is secure. There are many issues within the management system. It can be hard work for little gain but the feeling of self achievement is high. Good starting ground if your interested in electrical installation as a career. Plenty of overtime but limited to working hours directive.
Pros
Job security
Cons
Politics

They will have you doing 5 different job roles that isn't what you've applied for very stressful and when loads of people leave they don't replace them. The managers never praise you for your hard work all they do is tell you your not hitting your targets baring in mind everyone is doing 5 different job roles. Sometimes they'd say you can't take lunches becouse of how busy they are and still you don't get paid for those breaks you didn't take
Pros
Descent pay
Cons
Bad managmet, having to do multiple roles, half hr lunch even if you've done an all day shift

Always short staffed and left by yourself even when busy. Worked on customer services and they expect you to deal with in store pc repairs etc even without much knowledge as well as dealing with emails, phone calls, returns all for minimum wage. Management can never be bothered to help you it’s like a chore, always rolling the eyes or “I am busy”. Rota’s are to be posted 4 weeks in advance, would be lucky to get 2 weeks in advance and then they would change it and not tell you.
Pros
Can’t think of any
Cons
Low pay, don’t really care about you

Good as a stop gap job. Not good as a career unless you want to be mentally and or physically crippled before you're 60. I'm sure if they sent management out to do the actual job they'd change their poor attitude to us mules. Going above and beyond the customers expectations was a fairly easy ask for an "organisation" so incredibly disorganised.
Pros
Eventually at some point your shift would finish. A lot of the customers were actually amazing.
Cons
Being pushed mentally and physically by demanding/indifferent customers/management.

I learnt a lot in regards to sale. The teaching is top notch. They really brainwash you into believing you can achieve anything and they mould you I to thinking you are running your own business. It works, but not for long. The targets are not achievable. Uess you've been there for 5+ years and know how to cheat the system and lie to customers then you're set. Of you're new, you're going to struggle. Of you don't hit target, they will get rid you of you without a thought. That's why you're just a number. They will easily replace you. It's a very fast paced environment. They do look after you in regards to incentives and free gifts, Christmas parties and nights out. The main boss at Loughborough thinks he's god. Drives around in the latest sports car and never interacts with his staff. Which is not a good reflection. The pay is good, the commission is great. Overall, the staff are very friendly but you don't get time to talk to anyone. If you're good at sales, you'll probably enjoy it there, but not for long. You can't make a career out of it there, use it to learn them move on quickly. I've seen a lot of people come through the doors and leave, even the managers. There's a great loophole though.. work for a months and get good commission. Get a doctor's note for depression/anxiety and you'll get 3months off with full pay. So many people did this.
Pros
Commission
Cons
Unmet targets

If you ever start to struggle with mental health once the managers find out they let you go or force you out the door with their bully tactics, no support for those struggling with mental health, managers constantly in a power trip, bare minimum covid-19 rules being followed, allowing a driver to mix with numerous households in a week in the form of his second man, in and out of customers house all day everyday. Place is a shambles to work because of the management
Pros
Engineers are friendly
Cons
To many for this box

You're given good training and support to start, and unlike a lot of other places you typically aren't just thrown into the deep end. Once I started on the phones I had at least a good idea of how to use the systems and where to go for basic queries. When something unusual pops up, you have plenty of line managers and 'floor walkers', more experienced staff who hover around and help you out with your cases. All of this kind of breaks down as you slide into Christmas, which you will learn to dread. The hours are ramped up and your life for a good 1-2 months becomes the call centre. The quieter parts of the year (if they exist anymore) aren't too bad, but overall your job is to be fed a conveyor belt of calls, and - if you're on the general customer service department - lots of complaints. The worst part of this job was the customers. You deal with some really awful people, but the people you work with redeem the job because you're all dealing with the s*** together. Customer anger is often justified because of the unnecessarily convoluted systems you're working with and the many limitations they threw up, such as being unable to cancel an order placed 10 minutes ago because the item's been 'picked', despite not physically moving for the next day or so, or because somebody deleted the delivery line and now you've got to raise a new one that's another five days on from what the customer was originally told. This gets even worse on weekends, where the people who aren't working the weekend just told their customers whatever they needed to in order to get them off the phone on a - more...
Pros
Good drinks and cafeteria, easy to book holidays, some of the most down-to-earth people on the planet working beside you
Cons
Long hours, relentless peak shifts, lots of stress

You will be promised different things and management will make the right noses if you have a concern but in truth they don’t care, you will get a fact find for the slightest thing and I know of one time a driver was told by the manager he had hit a car that you couldn’t get the truck near enough to hit it but he got a fact find for that. You will be worked till you drop and don’t even think about not completing your route the money is ok it’s long hours management have not got a clue that is from the FLM upto depot manager if your face fits you will be fine
Pros
Alright wage
Cons
Very poor management heavy lifting

The company is poorly run, the manager has his favourite people, you can never just do your entitled hours without them changing at a moments notice, rotas are changed without knowledge, lazy people benefit and workers get penalised, pay is never correct as they always try to mess it up
Pros
None
Cons
Long hours, poor pay, poor management

It’s hard work, but the pay is fair for what you’re doing. Training was to a good standard, but you are expected to hit the ground running and get on with the job immediately. Overall, it’s a good place to work.
Pros
5 on 3 off shift pattern
Cons
Can be very long days

it is like most call centres it was where I did my apprenticship and I found it a good place to work for the most part a lot of what you do is based on stats and how quick you can get through calls but if you are below in one area your manager will try to swing it as but look how good this is, the managment for the most part are helpful but there are a few who made the job or situaltion harder then it needed to be it would be a great fisrt job but the call centre isnt somewhere you will see people spending thier working life unless they wanted to move up the ladder there which is easier to do from the inside then outside coming in
Pros
people
Cons
customers

Horrible place to work the company expect to much of you. can't organise sh.t, long hours every day, routing is fixed, never have time to have a legitimate break, worse company I've ever worked for, management are a bunch of bully's I think they used to be primary school teachers as they talk to you as you are a kid and have no respect for you. Good job if you like heavy lifting up and down stairs all day
Pros
Paid every 4 weeks
Cons
Long hours treated like a kid by management
