Management and communication very poor
Cargo Agent (Current Employee) - Heathrow - 29 July 2022
I recently started working here being advised that it was a great place to work but it took me only two weeks to find out the management have no time for any staff can not communicate and do not put the welfare of there own staff first. I had a day where I did not even get a toilet break for 5 hours and it was hot but no one checked on us. The management seem to have there favorites and these people will always get more attention and promoted. Pay is good and shifts are better then 4 on 4 off. DNATA need to out there staff first and invest in them including training on the job for all desk so people are more confident

No respect for Employees.
Driver (Former Employee) - Lhr - 11 May 2022
Worst company to work for. Transport Management treat you like a number. Don't get appreciated for what you do even if you go up and beyond. If your face don't fit and you dont kiss management butt's then you get a hard time. Don't work for this company. In the long run you will regret it.

Terrible management
warehouseman (Former Employee) - London - 1 May 2022
Terrible management, only know how to manage one way and you are always threatened with warnings and they expect you to work 12 hours with no break. You are just a number, please don't be late, you will be called into the office and given a warning if you clock in one minute late or if you clock out one minute early

OKAY for a career start
Check-in Agent (Former Employee) - Heathrow Terminals 1, 2 & 3 Station - 22 February 2022
Worked for this company on QA contract. It was okay for a career start. The management was 50/50. Some of them were rude and were doing favouritism. Others were very good and friendly, always helping around. The pay was always good, on time without mistakes (including the overtime). Kind of missing working for this company as the rest of the staff were all friendly and nice.
Pros
Part-time or full-time offer Full paid training Good money
Cons
Some management staff were rude

They value team work, great company.
Pax Agent (Former Employee) - Gatwick Airport Station, West Sussex - 9 February 2022
I did part time here, my earliest start was 0500am and that’s great for airport life and latest finish was 2pm. I always had a Great team to work with, and there was always a supervise so you never alone to deal with any problems that might arise. They value appearance, so have to always look presentable. Which I loved.
Pros
Management are on their A game Everybody always knows what they are doing.
Cons
Can be very strict and you have to watch what you say. Some colleagues don’t mind their business.

no flexible working hours
Lead agent (Current Employee) - Heathrow, Greater London - 7 February 2022
It's OK if you don't mind shift work 13h can be long especially as sometime you will not take your break as it is so busy No option to work remote or reduced hours.

Not a bad place to work.
Loader/Driver (Former Employee) - London - 5 February 2022
It's a relatively easy job & you're never put under to much pressure from managers & supervisors. They have lead drivers who will give all the quick easy tasks to their friends & leave others with the rubbish, which the management tend to turn a blind eye to. If you get a decent lead driver, it's good though. Overall it's a pretty good place to work.
Pros
Most of the staff are friendly & helpful You're usually left alone to get on with things.
Cons
Some lead drivers have their favourites The hours can be a bit rubbish.

Jobs at dnata
Great pay and work conditions also good work possibilites.
Team Leader/Supervisor (Current Employee) - London Heathrow Terminal 3 - 3 February 2022
At this industry, you have to cover your back at all the time because managers won't help you if you do not follow the company's rules and procedures and in this business sometimes is necessary to cut the corners.

Toxic
Bar packer (Current Employee) - Birmingham, West Midlands - 26 January 2022
I'm not sure where should I start but firstly I would advise anyone to stay away from this company. You are expected to work like a machine with no consideration for your mental health and wellbeing. Expectations are unrealistic. There is a lot of favouritism and double standards. The environment is awful and very toxic and as a result, morale is extremely low. Management appear to be on a power trip. They shout and swear at the people If you aren’t their favourite they will try to ruin your life.Toxic work culture- avoid working for this shamble of a company.
Pros
Free parking
Cons
Everything

Customer Service Advisor (Former Employee) - Manchester, Greater Manchester - 13 January 2022
It is a good place to work very busy at times, good people working with you, good work life balance and decent salary. Chances to progress if you work hard

Horrible environment
Bar Packer (Former Employee) - Birmingham, West Midlands - 26 December 2021
Out of all the places I’ve worked this is by far the worst. Some lovely people at shop floor level but the management team are horrible to deal with. Only good thing is if you are thinking of working here between months of may and September you can pretty much please yourself and the less you do the easier your time here will be.
Pros
The less work you do the easier your time will be especially in the summer months.
Cons
The management team are really awful to deal with.

No equal opportunity for all employees to make progress in their jobs
A committed Customer Service Professional (Former Employee) - Heathrow Terminals 1, 2 & 3 Station - 25 November 2021
Only certain people were given chances...it was not a fair environment to work in Too many connections. There was too much of stress on staff in terms if being flexible. They keep changing the roster sometimes on a daily basis and they always name it due to operational reason which is understandable to some extent. But they always expect flexibility from the employee's side and they hardly show any flexibility.

Enjoyable on the whole
Passenger Services Agent ( Part-Time role) (Former Employee) - Manchester, Greater Manchester - 11 November 2021
I really enjoyed working at Dnata but the hours are brutal, 6 on 3 off and some of the managers can be quite rude. Always OT available and salary was good, working with the public was the best thing, very efficient checking system and good training .
Pros
Nice crew
Cons
Very early shifts

It is one of the most unproductive places to work. The culture is very destructive.
Warehouse/Towing Team Agent (Former Employee) - London / Gatwick Airport - 7 November 2021
A typical day at work was very taxing. You have to deal with the exclusive culture. If you were not part of the "click" then every day was a problem. Only certain people were trained to perform additional duties which would lead to advancement/chances of promotion. Management was based on personal decisions. They had very little managerial knowledge, people skills or fair judgement. The workplace culture was based on "if your face fits" and how pretentious you were. If you could turn a blind eye to all the injustices that took place, while joining in and supporting to keep the status quo, then the chances of advancement were extremely high. Coupled with the immunity from any consequences for wrong doing or mistakes made. The hardest part of the job, was having to turn up for work and enduring the atmosphere. The most enjoyable part of the job was, payday, going home at the end of a day or night shift, and your days off. The company and the workplace was riddled with double standards. You were constantly waiting for a "brown envelope" demanding your attendance to an investigation, which would only lead to disciplinary action. But since the culture was based on who you were, as apposed to what you had done, the outcome was always NEVER FAIR.
Pros
The occasional free pizzas, biscuits, and fizzy drinks.
Cons
Long hours, too many inconsistences.

Poorly managed
Operations Coordinator (Former Employee) - Deeside - 11 July 2021
Poorly managed. Salary is a joke. They promote based on if they are friends with you rather than your experience and even if you do get a promotion the salary is not enoigh compared to the amount of work your expected to do.
Cons
Low salary. Have to work weekends and bank holidays.
