52 questions about working at Dobbies Garden Centres
I used to love working at my garden centre (when it was a Wyevale and subsequently bought by Dobbies). Since the Scottish firm acquired the store, the morale and management has taken a turn for the worse. Dobbies will strip your creativity and personality in return for a neutral store that looks bleak and unloved. Also, did I mention that the management were awful?

Definately do not work for Dobbies, absolute disgrace, staff do all the work for minimum wage and they get wages wrong. Had a really good manager when I started but new one been there 3 weeks, very rude doesn't help in any way and doesn't answer if you message him about wage problems. Do not apply.

Not enough staff and poor management. Your employed to do a specific role and then you end up doing everything but..and for minimum wage. It is honestly the worst working environment I have had to endure staff leave on a weekly basis.

The interview seems to consist of being asked when you can start! Just try and be clean and presentable
