What do they mean with competitive pay ?

11 answers

  • Over pay managers to attract retailers who know nothing about garden centres, and under pay everyone else to fund this. (Former overpaid manager!)

  • Minimum wage. No bonus. Overtime paid at minimum wage. No time and a half or double time

  • It’s minimum wage

  • Poor pay, minimum wage.

  • Not competitive at all, they need to pay equally at all levels and ages.

  • They put that as they are clearly ashamed of what they pay CSA’s. The pay is rubbish.

  • That the salary offered will be more than or equal to the industry.

  • Depending on the role you do will depend upon the rate of pay. for example... If you are a CSA your pay will range between £4.27 - £7.50. This is all dependent on age.

  • Competitive pay is usually where the level of pay per an hour or year is met by their competitors. This isn't the case with Dobbies - especially when Longacres was established. They pay just above minimum wage and you're expected to do too much for the rate of pay in my eyes in certain areas depending on the job role.

  • Clearly fake reviewer
