Team Member - Part Time in Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taff

Good Work Environment
Although the store I've been working at remains fairly busy, there are people who always encourage me to do better. This job is fairly stressful, but at the same time, it's enjoyable. There's nothing more to teamwork. Everyone must collaborate with each other to reach goals. That's the best part of being in here.

Not a good place to work
Awful management, manager was never in store always outside smoking. I would receive backlash from customers on the phone because managers would refuse to speak to them on the phone. VERY rude manager

Overworked and underpaid
Was doing 10+ hour shifts with no break and was responsible for opening/closing and running the shop sometimes, without being signed off as an official shift manger in an attempt to keep my wage lower than all the other staff and despite doing the managerial role. Was often working 6 day weeks, occasionally 7… and had most over-time deleted or found myself being clocked out whilst still working in order to “achieve target hours and meet projected work demand”

unprofessional, unprepared
i was at domino's for 4 months in those months i was treated like it was my very first shift, i would be patronised and never given the chance to gain experience, the management is a joke they will give you shifts even if you did not give your availability for that day and they will expect you to do the shift, you will be lucky to get a shift longer than 3 hours in one week since they do not have set shifts personally i think this is a joke and needs to be sorted.

Fast paced but not too bad
Domino’s is quite good for a first job, they hire anyone that walks through the door and the pay is solid. The tasks are very easy for the front of the shop role, answering the phone can get annoying when dealing with ignorant members of the public, and taking orders is easy along with sticking the stickers on the right boxes which takes a week to memorise but very easy once you know the boxes. And you get free pizza and snacks which is always good, plus a mega discount for family. Hours are easily ajustable and go past quickly.
