Poor zero hour contracts
A 0 hour contact is great when your a student as i have residentual trips that means im away for days at a time and i have a busy family scedual so its good that i can do that. Also a friend from work is at uni so she can go for months while she is away studying them come back which is a plus side to any young person working there. Also as a 17 year old girl it is dangerous to go home alone when your home is 3 miles from the store at night and so my manager gets a driver of my choice to take me home. I might just be lucky but my place of work is a home and family we all look out for eachother so the hours are great
I love the dominos i work in. We get free food on our shift with a drink of our choice and we can personalise anything we please. The hours are small and the pay is minimal for a tax that is maximum but our manager is lovely and i enjoy team and job
Rubbish hours ,No breaks
I was on rota for 4 evenings per week starting at 18.00 and some nights I was there until gone midnight, other nights I was back home by 19:30 after just one or two deliveries if I was lucky so 1-2 pound in my pocket! Forget making any plans on your rota days as it is impossible to know what hours you will work
Worse than it was a year ago. Still a current employee and the place will force you to carry trackers with you at all times via the smart phones they give to you. Worker exploitation is beyond what you can imagine. Suppose to be finishing at 10 pm? May as well throw your plans for that day out the window cause if the store is busy in even not so busy you can be expected or without even asked to stay back sometimes 4 hours after your supposed finish times. Recently to battle this the manage have now changed actual finish times till "late" instead of a more traditional precise time. You as a driver will be asked to put your back out carrying crates of soft drinks upstairs or down when the refrigerator needs refilling. Forced to answer phones and use the computers to take orders with no training. Any tips you do make you must keep hidden from view or management will snatch it faster than a magpie. Still a current driver but hopefully not much longer. Avoid!
I am a delivery driver... currently I do 60 hours p/w
80 plus working there was good
The working hours vary. But if your going to be a CSR (Customer Service Representative), then normally it's around about 5pm - 10pm.
