Linehaul Driver in Hinckley

Poor pay, bad planning, lots of sitting around
I really rate dpd as a delivery company which is why I decided to go and work for them. The interview process and driving assessment are the norm and if you pass then you get offered the job. I no longer work for them. It was the most frustrating job I’ve ever had.Clock in at the start of your shift and then sit down. Maybe 4-6 hours later you may be called to do a run. Go and do your run which involves working over your contracted hours as you’ve been sat around for so long. Drive anything from a brand new truck to a 13 year old one which has seen better days. Be scrutinised by microlise as you’re going about your day and be prepared for a letter to your house or called into the office if your driving isn’t what they want. Getting back into depot at the end of your shift can involve queuing for an hour and then after you’ve dropped trailer and want to go home wait for anything up to an hour in the traffic office to be debriefed and have your hours authorised. Then get treated like a criminal with security trying to go home. All this for a really poor salary. Company far too big and management really don’t care about drivers which is why they are constantly trying to recruit.

Dpd snetterton don’t bother
Don’t bother working for this company. Really poor pay and you end up wasting your time waiting around to be able to deliver or collect. Worst decision made working for this company. Will stab you in the back at every moment possible and pay changes constantly, even if you do the same route every day. Will add stupid areas to you and still pay poorly. Better off working anywhere else as employed or self employed.

Delivery Van Driver in Gloucester

Horrible place to work
Spent one month working here was the worst time off my life, the office staff never answered when you needed them, but was quick to call you to complain or give you new collections to do on a already busy schedule.
