Was at the Witham St Hughes depot under a franchise for 2 months and it was genuinely terrible... And an absolute shambles. No uniform, no one knows what date they are getting paid Had to send my pay details over a txt message struggle to get pay slips after asking day after day... No Contract. Majority of the vans are in a complete mess gears not working no oil ect. no vehicle checksheets... Fuel cards are a complete mess and once had to pay for fuel out of my own pocket!! All your parcels are in a big pile mixed up with other people's parcels in the morning with minimal space. without fail you will have missing parcels and even be searching for hours for a poxy parcel thats on the other side of the warehouse. Never been a job where I want to quit everyday. Management don't know whats going on and seemed as confused as everyone else... This review is to the best of my knowledge. If there was anything good to say I would but thekr isn't unfortunately.

Answered 3 June 2020Very stressful... Even one morning two guy were nearly fight and pushing each other the place is an utter mess. parcels everywhere no organisation. Bully tactics. Seen people walking out of the job week in week out... No Contract no uniform. Don't tell you when pay day is you have physically ask and force your pay details upon them. Vans are in a terrible mess mechanically and are abused and starved of oil... The Pda that you are issued is so terrible the maps are slow and the pda keeps crashing and rebooting. Fuel cards are a disgrace, confusion on who has them as they are not kept for specific vans. Even had to pay fuel out of my own pocket. Some of the fuel cards get declined too embarrassing. There is nothing good to say, genuinely worst place I've ever worked I walked out after a month at the Witham St Hughes depot like many others. I would rather be jobless then work their. Have fun!
