Not good place

Using people like rubbish. Management never helped, very heavy parcels some time over 70 kilograms, working non stop if you have any problems with your back that place very bad

Fleet department

Good salary, working continental shifts. Paid bonuses depending on management reviews and performance. Management could be more hands on and engage with employees.

Great place to work and fun

Very helpful management, good progression opportunities and plenty of help if you ask for it or are seen struggling, great and cheap food in the canteen, toilets always clean

Hard work but good pay

Very physically demanding job but you do get paid well. However, you can get paired with someone who is very slow at their job and you will both get penalised

goodplace for part time but those two days even a deadly place to work.

A good place to work for a part-time 20-hour job, but a dangerous place to work on those two days. Supervisors in HUB 4 and 5 are difficult to communicate with and never seem to appreciate your efforts. On the other hand, at DPD International Gateway (IG), supervisors and managers are very interactive and always appreciate your work, which keeps us motivated.

Fun workplace

The easiest job I’ve ever done. Salary could be better. The management is alright. Downside is last3 months before Christmas just too much work to handle

Going down hill fast

What was a nice job that payed decent years ago is nothing more then near minimum wage and exhausting now. Management company wide has changed in the last few years and now its all about making as much profit possible while giving none of it back to staff. A lot of the benefits we received years ago is no longer there. Your better off getting a job at Tesco, it actually pays more! How things have changed for the worse

Class 1 driver

Easy job mainly trunking you go from the main hub to other hubs all over the uk and sometimes you might have to do collections from customer site and you rarely do handball almost never

Awful management

Awful managers who hire and promote people based on the categories they fit into rather than there actual value, the bonuses don't out way the way you treated

Pros

Excellent bonus scheme

Cons

Very late nights

Difficult

This job payed quite well however the hours go very slow and the work is extremely difficult and involves a lot more heavy lifting than specified, its okay for a little amount of time.

Worst place

The worst warehouse I have ever been. The security at the gate was very rude and didn’t let us in on my first day; the Dpd told me to give uniform on my first day ( which they didn’t gave) and to wear “Dark” clothes. However the security thinks that “navy blue” is not the DARK COLOUR. I just want to request dpd to take educated people in their warehouse.“NAVY BLUE IS NOT A DARK COLOUR” - from security at dpd.

Cons

Rude people

Impersonal well paid but soul destroying

Well paid and lots of being it’s but found personal life is of little consequence and if issues arise in work or at home you’re an inconvenience and find your number will be flagged whatever the reason… you receive no help from management work wise or personal but if a compliant and have the ability to robotically work by command without deviating or using initiative the job is straightforward and rewarding

Pros

Pay

Cons

Unstable

Change your shift as and when they feel like it. Job overall ok. Easy work. Clean work. Once out on the road mostly left alone. No major hassle. Money ok if you get a decent run.

Pros

Easy

Cons

Change your hours alot
