Reviews about Pay & benefits for Truck Driver at DPD
Easy work, unsociable hours
HGV Class 1 Driver Linehaul. (Former Employee) - Lincoln - 12 June 2022
Generally easy runs, no loading/unloading just backing onto bays. If you don't mind working into or through the night it's a decent job however in peak your hours will increase then can drop to 40 per week with very little notice. Management & planning can be frustrating.

Easy job as long as you don’t do anything even slightly wrong
HGV Class 1 Driver (Current Employee) - Liverpool - 11 February 2022
Enjoyed time here, sadly they don’t do 4 on 4 off. They keep saying we are ALL one team, Not so, dpd & linehaul drivers separate and you hear it everywhere you go .
Pros
Wage, easy job, great bonuses, plenty of extras over the Christmas period. Great uniform and plenty of it.
Cons
Treated separately from dpd, lots of very old units in bad state interior & exterior

Not too bad to work for once you’re out in your wagon.
HGV Driver class 1 (Current Employee) - Morley, West Yorkshire - 11 December 2021
Not to bad to work for but too quick to discipline drivers for minor infringement on your driving style. Wagons are okay but still got a lot of old wagons what full-time drivers end up with instead of the agency drivers
Pros
Free food at certain times of the year
Cons
Long hours but good wage if you’re willing to put the hours in
