Decent job bad management
Delivery driver (Former Employee) - Glasgow - 31 December 2022
From day to day it was different some runs ok some terrible , if your face fits your given decent runs , if not your hammered with crazy runs and agency staff to help you out Management are out to get you at every turn one small issue and your reprimanded and they love holding you over a barrel when it does I would recommend working here if management changes however until then avoid ,great bunch of lads to work with ( management aside ) and you get to see places you usually wouldn’t whilst out on the road . Heavy hard work but pays well
Pros
Good bunch of boys wages on
Cons
Management long hours

No it’s not fun
Retail Sale Assistant (Former Employee) - Slough - 1 December 2022
The management was awful and they dreams as a company don’t know how to respect and treat there colleagues fairly and the management is very bad and every 10min who goes for a cigarette break that’s a very bad example to the employee and they are a very cheap company they make you clean the toilets and kitchen and make you do the hoover and they don’t have cleaners if I was like you i would double think to apply for this job.
Pros
They don’t make you take the 1 hour was you are supposed to have.

Easy job, rubbish management
Sales Advisor (Current Employee) - Liverpool, Merseyside - 30 November 2022
Work here if you never want any life outside of work. Terrible managers constantly reported to higher management but nothing is done, they'd rather staff leave than sack an under performing manager

Ok place to work
Delivery Service Driver (Former Employee) - High Wycombe - 11 November 2022
Alot of heavy lifting no 2 days are the same. It's all about the customer experience but the customer can be very difficult had one tell me that they had paid me for two hours and wanted me to install their cooker

Pure ridiculousness
Manager (Former Employee) - Smethwick, West Midlands - 10 November 2022
Did 10 weeks there and had to get the out. The worst place that I have ever worked by far. There is no planning or forecasting of any kind, yet you are expected to hit a moving target with a static team. The "Heads of" have no idea what they are doing, they're just nodding dogs for the exec team. A shoe string budget is not the word. the place is a complete dive.
Pros
Honestly isn't any
Cons
Long hours, nonsense and politics

Jobs at Dreams Ltd
Terrible place
Sales Advisor (Current Employee) - London - 8 November 2022
The job has made me miserable and I’m contemplating quitting after just two months. It is stressful and you are expected to know everything yourself.

Relaxed fun environment
Sales Assistant (Current Employee) - Durham - 6 November 2022
Loved working here, for a sales job it’s incredibly relaxed. Dreams don’t do the “Hard Sales” technique and it’s very much about doing what you can for the customer. In our store we take turns in helping customers to ensure it’s fair, putting quotes through for each other to ensure no one loses out on their hard earned commission. Ended up leaving to go to a different job (for more hours), however going back to work there.

Driver Halifax
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Halifax, West Yorkshire - 4 November 2022
Not a bad job but fairly heavy work. Strange way of paying you and shocking management that seems to look after certain individuals and you get all the late finishes. Good group of lads go if you desperate.
Pros
Cheap beds
Cons
No paid breaks and not enough time to do jobs

Excellent company to work for Especially Harlow branch
Assistant Manager (Former Employee) - Harlow, Essex - 28 October 2022
I spent 13 long years working for Dreams at Harlow. It's an amazing company to work for especially when working with a great team. The reason why I left because I was no longer able to work weekends.

I was looking for work nearby my Home address and this is the best spot I have ever found, staff and my co workers are really helpful, and really great environment to work, There are plenty opportunities for learning and development and managers are too supportive if anyone wanted to learn new skills and technology then

Management need to listen to the men who do the job.
Delivery Driver (Current Employee) - Cardiff - 22 September 2022
Good place to work but like every big business it's all about the profit margin. I personally will work here until I retire very hard going heavy lifting but self satisfaction knowing I do the job 100 percent correct.

Productive place to work if your looking for a relaxed atmosphere
Customer Advisor (Current Employee) - Dumfries, Dumfries and Galloway - 6 August 2022
Dreams is my current employer and I currently work with its dumfries branch, I very much enjoy working here as it is a different retail environment that I'm used to hovewever after 5 years I'm still not leaving I love it here. Dreams Ltd is an excellent business to work for the progression ive went through and the training provided by the management and the business in general has given me all the skills I need to be good at my job. As with all jobs you need to get use to the new working environment however with all the support at your disposal its so easy to fit in and in very little time. By far the best benefit of working here is the balance between work and out of work, such flexibility and not coming home run down and feeling over worked is a great feeling. If you love a good conversation and would like to help people get a good night's sleep in the process then look no further than this company they have it all.

Was with dreams for a short space of time but thankfully I'm out of there so much rubbish it's unreal, unless you are best friends with management don't expect an easy life. Treat you like rubbish with next to no training plus having to go out with other who are meant to be training you but they don't as want to be done early over looked for temp guys when your full time sent out with people who don't care talk rubbish about the company van that are falling apart
Pros
Clocking off
Cons
Clocking on, and mangers that don't care, Vans that ain't fit for the road.
