I have used driver hire many times these are my go to agency. All the staff have been effective and made me feel welcome. Have got me into work pronto always ask me if I want to do a job role if I agree all is agreed Inc rate ph and overtime rate, who to report too, address etc via text. Weekly paid always on time and normally correct any issues or descrepencies always delt with P

Driver Hire East Kilbride is an excellent place to work

I have worked in Driver Hire East Kilbride office since 1999 that proves what an excellent place to work it is. No day is the same we have a fantastic bunch of temps on our books who make our job easy to supply last minute and on going jobs. A loyal customer base who we have worked alongside supplying for a number of years.

Career Driven and fun workplace

Working at Driver Hire Bury St Edmunds is great. No day is the same, i am always learning new things. The team are lovely, very welcoming and helpful. I have learnt so much working here from bookings to payroll and holidays, i wake up every day looking forward to work. Not only is the workplace enjoyable but its so varied and i get to widen my admin experience. We are always having a joke and a laugh in the office, feels like a little family here. I would definitely recommend working for Driver Hire as it's very rewarding career wise. Management are also very helpful with everything and i feel comfortable approaching them about anything.

The woman in the office ruined it

Got sick (which i caught on the job) and had to take a few days off. Got told I was no longer employed in less than an hour. There's two women in the office, one is a lovely person, very understanding and pleasant to talk to. The other however is abrupt, rude and downright unpleasant. Anyone who has worked for this company knows which is which. Its an OK company for the most part but that woman is a pain to deal with and genuinely makes you dread calling the office

Rude staff, over exaggerated access to placements, not stable work, Will sack you for being sick

What is the best part of working at the company?Everything ok it’s just that contract work of unknown duration has a lot of uncertainty. Find myself settled into the role then someone is back from having a baby or something.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?The traffic conditions are out of everyone’s control .What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Good cheerful communication ethos .What is a typical day like for you at the company?I enjoyed the roles much more than experience I have had in other massive Logistics companies . I think people progress from that sort of treadmill role to places like Driver Hire. I am an older man and am more suited to long distance work grandad HGV so I don’t need to be a 21 year old reserve player for a local football team to do the leg work required for some multi drop companies , fast passed environment with very short runs.

Amazing people to work for.

I worked for driver hire In Sheffield for over 2 years. And in a simple terms (brilliant) they never missed a beat. I was never out of work.A great bunch to deal with.They even send out Birthday cards and Christmas cards. I even got a farewell card and good. Look for the future when I left them.

Started with issues when I tried to register online and it didn’t work, but from the moment I walked in personally, everything clicked. Got first gig within a day or two, the office was even helpful to organise transport to the workplace as I don’t own a car.Paid on schedule, occasionally formal discrepancies occurred, but when pointed out they were promptly corrected.A few weeks and got temp-to-perm and I’m out.Above all else I was treated nicely.Good job, Inverness.

Doncaster office unfortunately useless

As a driver ( class 1) there is NO work spend 90% of time at home. Driver hire causing stress, anxiety. high blood pressure due to them not offering any work. There is no care whatsoever. It has come to the point where I am going to get evicted from my home due to driver hire. Also due to no work my CPC is coming up for renewal and due to driver hire not giving out any work I will not be able to renew my CPC to no money, so they are going to put me on the street and loose my lively hood. Not a Good company to work for. The worst agency in the country.

You can always count on them, although sometimes the payment does not match my calculations. Can find work with Your work experience and trade otherwise I would of stayed with them great bunch of staff and made some friends overall a decent place and good pay

Decent to work for

Have kept me in constant work for nearly a year, helped with me getting my class 2 licence by allowing me to go through there books. Down side is they tend to leave you stuck on assiment especially if it's one no else wants to do, they say they'll find you somthing better as soon as it comes along but they wont
