ops manager were first rate but the MD an arrogant

I had an interview with the ops manager , she was focused on the paper work at first and then stepped through what was expected ,I felt this was a professional company but later felt the MD was of poor character ,It was like dealing with a spoilt child that had not developed any social skills ,I got TUPed over and politely asked if they could send a conformation of the holiday i was entitled to ,And he got all petty and personal, really low calibre of person ,the kind our industry should leave behind until they learn to act with some dignity and grace

Bad all round most of the time

Based in London job, abismal communication, paid wrong or late. Not valued or listened to. No real concern for health and safety, lacking on ppe and uniform for all types of weather. The pay was sort of decent but not worth the stress you have to go through on a regular basis.

I covered shifts after a 12 hour night shifr straight to a 6 hour days shift. Emoloyed unskilled people.

Management do not care about employees. Just bodies. You do not get recognised if you go above and beyond. They just use and abuse. They make false promises and are not trustworthy

Duval security fm

duval security is good company and working for DUVAL FM is good but one thing not right for the company is not giving you enough shifts no permanent job or site but kept employ people

Good management structure and the owner lee is always on hand to help

Good company to work for some of the jobs are rubbish but in general it's good and you learn alot and you rarely bothered from anyone which means you can get on with what you need to do without hassle

If you want paying on time I wouldn't work for duval No communication from management No managerial skills just family members Lie to all employers Tell you what u want to hear but never do what they say Grant u holidays then dont pay u for them That's just a small list if you are still daft enough to work for this company YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED by an EX EMPLOYEE

Great company to work for.

Worked for Duval for nearly a year. Never had any issues with the company or the work. Only left as I wasn't getting enough hours. Would have stayed working for Duval if there had been more hours on my site. Can't fault the company better than most Security firms I've worked for.

Good company, management we're great to deal with and wages were always on time.

Good company overall,better than other companies.The leadership strive to do as much as they can for employees.I am happy to work for this company.The helpdesk is useful.

Avoid

One of the worst companies I have ever worked for no one has a clue what’s going on I once booked some holidays which were granted and then they called me up asking if I wanted over time and I was the only one able to cover due to them not having many sites up here, told them that it was my site and my holidays, always came on site unannounced trying to catch you sleeping as I worked in the middle of no were, supervisors were clueless and never in uniform

We have a number of contracts in and around Leeds !!! Maybe you weren't suitable for any of them and yes Supervisors do attend unannounced and check you are awake and working !! THATS THEIR JOB

Poor company worse ever

Worse company ever worked for. They don’t care about you what’s so ever. They try scam people out of wages and holidays pay. Don’t pay on time either, if you due to get paid on 15th each month and it lands on Sunday. They pay on Monday which makes it 1 day late!!!! every other company I’ve worked for would pay Friday not 1 day late. Very rude people to speak to on phone. Thank god im away from this rubbish company. STAY AWAY OR YOU WILL HAVE TROUBLE IVE HAD! they also send ya last wages in a cheque to make you wait them extra days for it to clear!!! Stay away

Your contract of employment states you will be paid by cheque if you don't return all items belonging to Duval FM , maybe you should have read the contract before complaining and we cant pay you on a weekend , No one can !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worse Security company in the industry

Worked for Duval FM for 6 months as part of TUPE. Worked on my site for over 13 years as Site Supervisor and along came this poor managed so called security company. They couldn’t provide the customer or their security officer with service which in fact is standard procedure. The contract manager has no security experience at all in fact comes from background of pest control. Her English and grammar was terrible and had no knowledge even to run this proactive site let alone get basics right. Whenever something went wrong it was always security teams fault not managements. No wonder all officers still work here and management don’t.(that’s saying something) the MD is just a jumped up little man, gives the whole big talk but can’t do notning. Offered him loads time to come see me but think he met his match. Another guy that has no knowledge to run a business let alone so called security company. I can go more and more but will be here forever. I’m glad my time finished with these waste of space company and actually now working for proper corporate security company. Most good reviews are bunch of lies on here I had first hand experience of these. Someone that looks after 8000 people and has over 15 years of security experience can clearly say Duval FM is by far the worse company out there.

First , you've never looked after 8000 staff and we know that for a fact as you've been a Security Officer all your career and not a Operations Manager or Director Secondly , you made no effort to work with Duval FM and worked against the company since day one and we know the reason why !!!!Thirdly, it would have been helpful , if you didn't actively criticise every body at Duval including your own Security Officers whilst you were in our employment Lastly if you havent got anything constructive to say , Whats the point !!!p.s i see your wages were correctly paid and on time ,

Brilliant Place to work

Since i started it has been brilliant , i have no issues to moan about Paid on time , uniform is good , managers are helpful , duty managers actually know hat they are talking about

Great Company to work for

Just started at a contract in Surrey and everything working great , really busy site The duty Mangers have been really helpful organising weekends off when needed much better than the company i worked for before

Great place to get away from the kids and wife

I actually enjoy coming to work it gives me time to relax and think as my house is chaos with the kids only joking duval is a good place to work no issues in the last four years over wages shifts

I work on a great contract

I have worked for one year on the best contract ever , I've got a great client great pay and have every Christmas off only because the site closes down but i still get paid which is brilliant

The help has been brilliant

Since i started the support and help of my manager has been brilliant he has always been at the end of the phone and pops in once a week to see how i am doing

My wife is much more happier

Since starting with Duval my wife has been happier as i get paid more for doing less hours and as my wife is happier that makes me happier we have more time for holidays and walks

Never been so comfortable in a job

worked at duval for 2 years and have never been so happy , good wage , good managers and the site i work at is great the women in personnel are really helpful
