Very good company
Excellent training and support, given enough time to complete work to the required standard, only issue was they can be slightly pedantic in certain areas

Good company for long haul
Worked at eon for some years and have had multiple pay rises to keep up with cost of living. Most of management are kind and will help you. More of a relaxed setting compared to other call centers

Nice place to work
I worked for E.on for 15 years and enjoyed my entire time there. The pay has always been competitive and generous. I have had loads of great colleagues and managers over the years, and loads of support when required.

Good Company to work for
Worked for E.ON for 21 years. They are a very good company to work for. I found managers supportive and felt I always had great job security. The pay was above average for the type of role

Relaxed environment
Ok place to work, room for progression. Pay was fair too, including bonus schemes. Colleagues were really helpful & so were the Team leaders. Customers were really nice too.

Interview questions

From 20 years ago, I believe they asked if I was reasonable fit to be able to walk the distances necessary. In those days, a meter reader would call at nearly every property in a street, returning to the van to move to another street. This could be between 1 and 2 hours.
