Chef in Bootle, Merseyside
on 4 March 2021
Poor pay, minimum wage, needs updating
Worked as a chef for this company. Bridle Road Bootle L20. Didn't stay long. No general assistant and expected to do dishes for over 60 children five times a day, plus your pans you are working with. Assistance would be helpful to let the chef create more creative dishes from fresh. Doors in the kitchen hanging off, grubby and needed bringing up to standard. How they were on 5* for hygiene is miraculous.Lot of frozen food. Management full of promises, extremely poor pay. Minimum wage for a level 3 chef (management) is poor. What this company wants is a cleaner plus someone who can cook a bit, and get it for nothing.I took the job in the pandemic and it was local. But I chose to leave. Overall, it appears the turnover is big. And that's due to young management, not enough staff and a pretence of organisation. I walked out with it cleaner than I walked in. I'd not recommend until pay is increased for the workload.

Brilliant nursery!
I have been with the company for a few months now and can honestly say I have never felt more valued in a job before. The management are brilliant and really approachable if you ever have an issue.

Fun workplace
The staff were friendly and the children well behaved. The nursery was very tidy and well looked after. The days are planned very organised and teaches children how the day is structured.
Teaching Assistant in Widnes
on 3 April 2017
During the day there would be alot of things to entertain myself. I would play with the children, and sometimes i would set up a group activity for the children in order to show the children that it was good to work together. The activities that i done with the children was to show them that they could work together as a team and that it was good to work with their class mates.
