Lead Technical Advisor in Newcastle upon Tyne

Can be fun and very rewarding.
Overall a great place to work. Love rewarding agents with bonuses for doing well. Additionally the discounts plans for being an employee also. Progression was relatively slow for myself, which was the reason for leaving, but that may have been more down to me, than them.
Sales Advisor in Greenock, Inverclyde

Horrible & depressing
Worked for EE for 5 years in Greenock call centre. The job is tough going as a sales advisor and emotionally draining. When it was Tmobile/Orange the commission was good and targets were achievable but now owned by BT the targets are unrealistic. At the start of the month when the targets come out you automatically feel defeated due to how unrealistic it is to reach them. You can have the best customer service and they don't care its always adds and broadband drilled in to you. You get moaned at for taking a 5 min personal breaks which you are entitled to on a 12 hour shift. Its a dead end job with no progression. Would 100% avoid at all costs.
Customer Service Advisor in Kent

Excellent place to work
To be honest, your experience will vary on the location in which you apply for.During my time at EE i worked at 3 separate stores, two EE stores and one store within store. At first i found it tough and hard to get used too even with the previous experience, but the management were very supportive and understanding. During my time at my last store, i made some really good friends, the management were excellent and there was never a concern for not hitting our target. Although we are pushed to achieve our commission bonus, we were always told to put customers first and explore every option to make sure we can support them and offer products that were tailored to their needs.

Don’t believe the hype in training
You are just there to try snd sell extra to customers even if they are having difficulty paying their bills. Ridiculous systems. Team leaders just sit and chat
Telesales Agent in Kingston upon Hull

Don't listen
Alright pay but they don't listen if you have anxiety when on phones and they is another job available they will still put you on the phones. They try telling you when you can go for break and dinners

What is good service? Identify a time you were involved in good service? A time you had to meet a deadline.
