I have worked in call centre and as sales advisor in a store. Interview process is telephone interview, and for contact centre the next stage is going in and playing a role play scenario. In store its trying to sell a contract based on information provided. All in all an enjoyable experience and was made very condor table at both.
The best ive ever had, they want to know who you are, honesty is the best policy, unorthodox interview style, not too formal, more like a chat with mates at the pub but in suites.
Telephone interview initially, then invite to store where you will have an interview, be sent onto the shop floor to invent a sales pitch and then a role play, (normally selling a gym membership)
I applied online and got a email the next day inviting me for a phone interview a couple of days later.. all was well during the phone interview and I was invited to an assessment day in Darlington. The whole day was very fun and interesting and was made to feel very comfortable. The Day including of a role play performance some team challenges and a 121 interview. I received a phone call today offering me the job and I'm very excited to be working for a EE in a couple of weeks.
It was as to be expected- questions regarding past experience and how you have dealt with difficult situations professionally in the past
Fair and straightforward
Very difficult considering that full training is provided to new starters
Phone interview, then face to face with role play and call listening
