Productive and Fun Can be Stressful At Times
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - Hertfordshire - 26 June 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedGood Job And Very sales focused. the job overall isnt bad and hourly pay is decent however need to ensure targets are hit to get commision where if you dont hit you will get no commision. Also if store doesnt hit target your pay will be massively affected. Management are ok once you know them. Overall good job and benefits.

Insights into EE
Areas for improvement
- Trust in colleagues
- Sense of belonging
- General feeling of work happiness
Worst place
Senior Customer Service Advisor (Former Employee) - Glasgow City Centre, Glasgow - 23 June 2022
Doesn’t care about staff, terrible culture wouldn’t recommend to anyone, impossible targets, managers expect you to miss sell even to vulnerable people

Can be good but targets make it very stressful
Customer Advisor (Former Employee) - United Kingdom - 18 June 2022
Can be good but targets make it very stressful Targets often change in ways that mean that one month you're moving people from EE broadband to BT and the next your moving them back to EE
Pros
Good discounts
Cons
The sales targets can causes a great deal of stress outside of work, not much work life balance

Good for students
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Darlington - 17 June 2022
Great for students, no real job progression although constantly told that there is, feels like carrot and stick in that sense. How good the managers are depends on which one you get.
Pros
Flexi working available
Cons
Targets are unrealistic for most

Good place to work, can be clicky
Customer Relations Specialist (Former Employee) - Darlington - 13 June 2022
I was there for 11 years so is a place for long time work and if get in with a good team with a good team leader can be settled for sometime, until they switch it up which they like to do regularly. Can be very clicky. Is hard to progress career wise

Very supportive group both locally and nationally
Sales representative (Former Employee) - Winsford - 9 June 2022
I worked for a franchise branch which made the work environment feel very supportive for both work and a personal life balance. Being part of the EE business allows for good benefits such as discounts and competitions within the company. You get to see the latest tech available on the market with a lot of support also from manufacturer representatives. This job would suit people aiming to meet targets for big rewards, people who love technology and love the face to face support for new and existing customers.

Enjoyed and had fun throughout evolution of a company and technology
RETENTIONS / SALES ADVISOR (Former Employee) - North East - 8 June 2022
I started Orange and ended up EE, great team, management and company. They looked after me while I had great fun, with incentives that motivated, were achievable, encouraging friendly competitiveness within a team and between them. Enhancements for bonuses and other tasty extras also offered up also with a bonus structure that evolved with the industry.

Jobs at EE
Don't get sucked into to their beliefs
Manager (Former Employee) - Teesside, North Yorkshire - 7 June 2022
They believe they're great and they tell you constantly until you believe it. It's like a bad cult, would not recommend. Lured in with unachievable bonus systems
Pros
Decent basic salary
Cons
Commission near impossible to achieve

Is What It Is
Customer Advisor (Former Employee) - Chester - 30 May 2022
It is what it is, sales role in a competitive market, you get out what you put in. Sometimes you have to be a little pushy or unethical to hit targets, but you can set your own boundaries.

Good experience
Telesales Advisor (Former Employee) - Merthyr Tydfil - 25 May 2022
Working at EE was a great experience and I would recommend as it may be the perfect place for you if you fit. I enjoyed everyone at the company targets were difficult but that’s the game. The only thing that let it down for me was the development opportunities. When I worked there it wasn’t how good you performed rather how well you got on with the management. Being friends outside of work really worked for some. Other than that i enjoyed
