Despite the culture being quite a laugh, the nature of the company is cut throat- if you don't meet the performance criteria in the Business Development Agent role for example, you will be usually fired without hesitation. You are usually placed on a "temp contract" with a promise to be moved onto a permanent contract within 3-6 months, however don't be fooled because most people who have managed to last years without being fired are still not on permanent contracts so they can retain the ability to cut you off as quickly as possible if your performance declines. On the positive- your training is quite good and you have the opportunity to learn some invaluable sales skills and techniques.
If you're looking for a start in sales- this is potentially for you because the people are genuinely great and interesting people of all backgrounds, but if you're looking for a long term job with career safety then look elsewhere because from what I saw, it doesn't take a lot for management at E.I.M.S to decide that you aren't right for the job, which I guess, is the nature of most sales roles.
Spend a lot of time empowering management at the expense of the employees. Spout about "Integrity" being their "core value" - does not exist in that company!!
Amazing people, both people you work with as well as most managers. Can get lost in amount of work at one point, never boring. Focused on targets and might feel corporate at times.
Racism, favouritism, a manager who is so afraid of losing his job he does whatever he wants with the trainees.
And an incredibly ignorant management team that allow him.
The place looks nice on the outside but the management is rude and discriminate with staff with regards to their accent.
Very poor preparation given to staff for tasks as they encourage cold calling companies and criticising their products (this is the test btw). Unless you dont speak any other languages than Spanish and English with a native accent you are not welcome, so I do not recommend this who openly discriminates their employees.
